I didn't make a million naira last year but I was making real money from buying Foodstuffs in North and selling in the Southern part of Nigeria. Honestly, I never knew the value of what was wasting away around me, until a friend introduced me to this business. I made 850k within 4 months before I traveled.
But this year, I'll be making my first trip tomorrow and my target is to reach that millionaire status before the first half of this year.

The same opportunities abound in your location too, just find a way of making money out of it.

Good luck to us all!

Please I will like to join you either on partnership or guide me on it. thanks

For me it was and still is Consulting/Consultancy in my Discipline/Area of Expertise.

I figured that since I was very good in the Skills, Knowledge and Techniques of the Discipline and I had trained myself in various other capabilities concerning the Discipline, I could create a company by the side that will offer consultancy services to clients that frequent my place of work. The Discipline is such that once data is gathered in the field through various tests and analyses, reports can be prepared and submitted to the clients.

As a matter of fact two of the subsidiaries I created (Hospitality i.e. Bar, Lounge and Restaurant) and the Consortium/Parent Company for my envisaged conglomerate were registered with CAC by members of this forum. Money does not like to be idle and I love having multiple streams of income. As per the Lounge Business, I am still seeking for an appropriate property within the Ajah, Sangotedo, and further axis. It turns out that land searches have proven over 95% of the properties there to be scam and/or under government acquisition.

I am seriously considering divesting into Agriculture/Food Stuff/Agro Allied next after which I will go into Graphics, Monogramming, Printing, etc., At a time I visited the place where my car is serviced and was shocked at the number of vehicles waiting for servicing? Over 10 cars waiting and willing to pay 2,000 naira for the service. And this man has about 3 lube bay service pits. Yet in that few minutes I got there I had to take my turn, other cars went in for servicing and other cars arrived to take turns. Meanwhile we will buy our oils and filters. An idea immediately ran through my head. However this area requires understanding of the intricacies in the business.

If your discipline is technical and requires the use of consultants, e.g Goetechnical Testing, Mechanical Engineering, etc. and you are working somewhere else , you can also save up funds and start your own.

Do not rely on one source of income. Create Multiple Streams. Master one stream, invest and nurture. Then master another stream, then invest and nurture. Dangote is not the only one who likes having a conglomerate. Some of us do and have ours too. Steadily growing to where we want it to be.

Researching, writing and publishing books on Amazon. I made Millions from it in 2019

It is a goldmine. One of its beauties is its passive nature. I am set to repeat the same this year by God's grace.

think one solution to the ever increasing unemployment level in Nigeria is for the youths to go into the gig economy.

It is estimated that over $1.5 trillion dollars was exchanged on upwork last year.

India alone rakes over 5 billion dollars yearly in freelancing revenue. Why is Nigeria's case different?

Here are some reasons you should be on Upwork.

1. It's a perfect work from home platform.

I've seen people who bought cars from their Upwork earnings working from the comfort of their homes, in their boxers, on the comfort of their beds.

Example is me minus the car sha.. Hehe

I don't need to work for anyone. My earnings will cripple what some government workers make.

Plus, it gives me time to serve God. I can go for any service I want at any time I want to knowing that I can come back to work early in the morning

2. You deal with Americans or foreigners who at least know the value of your skill.

When I deal with foreign clients, I charge between 5 to $10 for 500 words (that's like 3600 for 500 words) but in Naija, some clients can price you for N500 for 1000 words. hehe

The best part of it is, you earn in dollars and this has a higher return when you convert it to naira.

3. Jobs are constant and consistent on Upwork

Every ten seconds a job is uploaded on upwork.

Lots and lots of jobs are available for the freelancer to bid for.

You are only hindered by how good you are or not in sending proposals and getting jobs.

THE ONLY DISADVANTAGE OF UPWORK IS: Opening an account can be very tasking. Infact, 9 out of 10 accounts from Nigerians are rejected if you don't know how to answer their registration questions.

My team and I have been able to help more than 50 persons create and set up great upwork profiles that produce up to $500 monthly.

Normally, my team charges N5,000 for approval and set up but for the month of January, we will do it for just N3,000

We will also send you materials on getting started and writing proposals that get you jobs.

Just in case you don't trust us, you can make payment after the approval and set up.

If you are ready to change your financial situation, make the investment today and get your account running

What are the goods u were dealing with and how much did u start with? Thanks
I started with onions & beans and my initial capital was 63k. Most of my earning was ploughed back to the business, this increased the number of bags I was loading per trip and also increased my income.
