If I'm taking about a certain device (s) I'll state it but I'm talking about them xiaomi phones generally...

I've seen on mi 8, RN7 China beta rom and few others

The older Xiaomi phones won't receive android 10 update, hence the need to specify device.

For now, priority would be flagship, then later the redmi series

Even if its iPhone 11 someone is using gold plated iphone 7 that cost more. You dont have to be using flagship to know that a brand is good. A brand is not seen as being good in the big things. It is seen as being good in the little things and details it pays attention to. That's quality and luxury for you.

LoL.

Samsung is the perfect brand. Agreed.
Xiaomi is upcoming. Agreed.

What I still don't get is how you fail to see that nitpicking comments here to denigrate Xiaomi isn't a show of intelligence rather, it's a show of mental weakness (..no offence meant here.)

Always having to jump on when users have issues with their phones only shows how much of a threat Xiaomi is to Samsung. You're practically the one stirring up the Xiaomi v. Samsung comparison as most times, users here get Xiaomi phones and enjoy the value for whatever they get (..and admittedly, some do compare Xiaomi to Samsung!) I literally stopped taking you seriously when you said "all" equates to "most" at some point on this thread and mind you, I wasn't using a Mi device as at that time. There are a lot of YouTube reviewers (both paid and honest) giving Kudos to Xiaomi for offering great specs for affordable prices but you just shy away from anything good Xiaomi does. I understand it's immanent for a troll but then you still cry foul when people "insult" you for deliberately soiling their devices. What exactly do you want? You want to sully someone's phone and expect an attaboy? That's cool too!

Two months in with my Xiaomi RN8 and it's been cool so far. I have friends using A30s, A20, A70 and they still respect my phone. They praise it for being just "dope" at its price point and that's aight by me. Remember seanwilliams complained about his A10s or so and you said One UI is too bulky for it or some stuff... If a person using Xiaomi had done the same, you'd have said it's because Xiaomi is imperfect and upcoming and this and that... You can see your double standards?

A friend of mine got A30s and out-of-,the-box, the phone was always getting hot but it normalized after a week or so. She was scared it's a fault with the phone but since I'm the tech guy (..wetin I Sabi?) I just told her it'll be cool and literally, it was.

In all, enjoy whatever you've! Even for me, I'm already looking at Huawei or OnePlus as my next stop but MIUI is so damn sweet so I'd need some convincing switch.

Again, I'll say learn how to constructively criticize and know when to keep quiet and walk past. It'll do you all the good that there is.

Buy s10 and come back then we can start from there
Your Scrappy Samsung A10 you bought from a variety of devices proves you are a joker

And just before you call me a marketer I was once a troll like you on this thread although I was never persistent in ignorance like you are now

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I plan on changing my handset soon and for this I might as well buy my 3rd A10 within 9months.

Sir, I dont need to pretend on a faceless forum. I can as well engage other respected monikers here in throwing insults. But I chose not to, you have seen other monikers insult people here.

But despite all these I have NEVER insulted anyone and I will never insult. It's just a phone and a brand, even Samsung is something some people dont use because they feel its inferior. Every thing in life is transient but self respect and legacy will last for decades.

Yes, it charges. I've rebooted it severally, even with safe mode. The phone is on, it's just that the touch doesn't respond.

Oh I skipped the liquid part.

If everybody comes here daily to testify to the joy they get from their devices every moment they do, then the testimonies will overshadow the complaints and what will people's reaction be? Hyping of the highest order.
And if they decide to enjoy their phones in silence or learn to get the best out of their phones without turning it into complains here, it leaves the majority of posts to those who needs help with one thing or the other or the infinitesimal percentage of those who are so unlucky with a defective unit. Then the reaction becomes: "A bad upcoming brand".

Sighs.
We go dey alright last last

No Xiaomi is one of the best upcoming brands. It has been able to create a fanbase that from statistics will accept whatsoever it dishes out be it good or bad.

Fun fact : I always back up my comments with quotes. That is comment of users here. And in an argument that happened last year. It was agreed that they dont want anybody complaining about their Xiaomi devices on this thread.

If not that I stood up for those complaining. These recent complainants would have been shouted down. Because prior to my coming those with issues were scared to complain.

Lmao. Got the phone for a friend yesterday, tried testing the camera but noticed the flash not working even after setting it to on and also trying auto.

Then tried just switching the flashlight on independently, the icon show blue ( which should be on) but still no light was on.

Wanted to know if anyone had similar challenges.

It is clear that whatever is done here is out of anyone's free will hence his comment that no one is obligated to address any complaint here. Moreover that's his opinion. many people here have gone out of their way to offer assistance to a whole lot of people here that had one challenge or the other so abeg park well.
A thread that has helped hundreds if not thousands of people to resolve issues way before xiaomi officially launched in Nigeria you are here talking crap. Saying no one is allowed to complain here the the height of your ignorance.

Talking about proof, the last time you said a 4000mah battery will achieve 12hrs sot under heavy usage on a single charge and you were asked to provide proof you lost your memory. Well I'm here to refresh your memory. Pls provide the said proof.
