Today is the 9th day of the year. How many of your plans have you been able to put into action?

Or, are you like the former ME, that believed that there is no difference between years that it's just a change of figure?
I changed that mindset in the 31st of Dec.2019. Let me tell you the full gist.

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't believe there is a new year so on the 31st, when it was about 40 mins to 12am, I left the church to go get snacks for my kids.

On my way, a thought was prompting me to hurry up so that I can meet up with the prayers for the new year; but I quickly shut down the thought that "what's the big deal? After all, it's going to be another Wednesday.
But a gentle thought, dropped in my mind that" if you say there is no difference in years will you be happy to go through what you experienced in 2019?

It was as if a veil was lifted off my face.. you can guess what happened next.

You have prayed, and may have written out your plans and resolutions for 2020 have you started working on it?

I know many of us may not have the financial capacity to work on our dreams and aspirations but do you know that, no one can start climbing a ladder from the top? You have to start from the bottom step and work your way up ward.

BS Alert.!!!

I had always prayed for supernatural and swift delivery like my 1st child whose labor spanned for 3hrs.
Edd was 02/2020 and I was so very tired of carrying the pregnancy.
2nd came with no signs of labor and actually made me depressed because I knew the next of line would be Induction.
On the 3rd of Jan. I woke up normal, around 10 am. I urinated a saw a drop of blood. I was surprised and kept cleaning myself till I saw specks of blood and pinkish discharge.
Then I knew my mucus plug was coming out
I called my Midwife and Dr and they td me to relax till Evening since there was no contraction

I got to Hospital 5pm and was examined to be 3cm dilated with no contraction. Dr did membrane sweep and got admit ted to allow labor progress naturally.....
From 6pm-10pm , no contraction but more mucus plug kept falling off.
I was examined around 10:30pm with no contraction and was 6cm dilated.
Then the drama started, after Dr burst the Membrane and mounted Oxytocin drip.
I went through Severe Pain from 11pm till past 12am where I screamed I wanted to defeacate.
The nurse monitoring the labor was surprised and didn't believe the fast progression.
I had to shout that ' Madam , I know my body more than you do ".
She examined got confused because the baby's head was already at the tip. Wheelchair was brought in and wheeled with speed to labor room where I pushed once and baby came out with minor tears.
The experience was swift and fast. But I was more angry because they assumed every woman must labor for long and I had the pressure to push after oxytocin drip but wasn't listened too .
God had already made it a painful labor till 6cm dilation and the labor lasted 11:30pm-12:30am.
In all I give God all the glory cz only him alone did it for me.
To all women praying For quick delivery, Ask God and it will be granted
To all those approaching Edd. God will make it a process you will know its a testimony that only God could have done it .

It remains just a few days, you will meet your lo soon and start vigilante. What you're doing now is pre-vigilante.
About taking flask or jug to hospital, the flask I took there I didn't use because my hospital provides me hot water with their flask 24/7, they even gave my mom hot water to bath. Though I used private hospital o. I really love their service. So it depends on the hospital policy, you might find out from their staff which one will be useful for you.

My only consolation is that I've not added too much.
Used to be 70-72kg, and I currently weigh 78kg

On Wednesday night I went to the toilet to poo and I sat a while on the seat waiting for residue to go out.it did but I strained a little and afterwards I started having pains in my anus.By Thursday morning,the pain was worse and I had to probe the area and felt soft flesh about half a bean on the opening.
I have used cold water to press it in and hot water as well but the pain is killing.
Please what can I do to make the flesh go in and stop the pain?
How embarrassing it will be to tell my gynecologist I have haemorrhoid

Well I dont think theres a specific weight limit, but at the same time your doctors won't advise that you add so much weight during pregnancy, it's important to maintain a healthy weight/lifestyle in order to reduce the risk of complications that may arise during pregnancy/delivery.

The other one prescribed vasoprin, methyldopa, and nifedepine..he. said labatol will crash my bp that I shouldn't use it. Hospital: Limi Hospital. Was recommended to me by colleagues.

Since 5th week, I ve been having serious wave of nausea, fatigue and dizziness. Can hardly keep anything down including water or my preggy supplements. Pap with sugar only is the only thing I can manage to keep down. I ve lost 6kg since 5th week.
Nevertheless, it will end in praise.
It seems like location/environment abi weather affects this pregnancy sickness of a thing. In December, I left Abuja and travelled to the east for about a week. While I was in the east, the whole sickness of a thing stopped totally. I was eating normally. Jumping around, organizing things, going to the market sef. At a point, I even forgot I was pregnant. The very day I came back to Abuja, I threw up everything. The whole feelings came back with full force. I was even given sick leave in the office and placed on bed rest. Up till now, very single opportunity I have is spent on bed.
As I am almost 12 weeks, I pray it will reduce and probably stop.
Hubby has been so supportive. I don't blackmail him but he has so much compassion for me and tries to help out in every possible way.

Labetalol crashes BP,it was given to me after delivery, I used it alongside vasoprin and nifedepine because my BP was extremely high.
I don't know how high your BP is but I feel vasoprin and nifedepine should be just fine.

Please if you decide to use the labetalol have a BP checker at home or somewhere close by that you can always check your BP at least twice daily and stop the drug once your BP is normal.

BIRTH STORY!!!!!
I will try and make it as short as possible.I had so many EDDs o.I had 7,9,12,15,17,18,and 22.I past all o.The midwife had to call me in for an induction, that was why I came here to seek advice or should I say assurance that everything will be fine.When I heard "INDUCTION" my heart jumped! What came to my mind was normal labour raised to power 4.Life tire me.Before now hubby has been bragging that his son wants to come on Christmas day!! That talk dey vex me ehn,because I was already tired of the pregnancy right from when I discovered I was pregnant. The first 4months of my pregnancy is usually hell for me.I vomited so tey I my throat started bleeding. I practically slept in the toilet ,no be joke o.If you come to my house and you don't find me just enter my toilet you will see there. I had to move to the toilet because I was so weak to even walk to the toilet to vomit because I couldn't even drink water.
Fast ward to my induction day.My appointment was for 9am but my friend advised I go late so that the delivery can enter 25 like my husband wanted.I sha got there 12pm with fear of them cancelling the appointment because of their time consciousness. After all the procedures ,I was taken to the induction ward.I changed and was placed on monitor. They said baby's heartbeat was too fast and needed to be stable before they could administer the thing .I was kinda happy because at least I was sure it will enter 25th.They gave me drums of water to drink,I drink water so tey water nearly comot for my nose.At a point they removed the monitor so I could rest. I come say make I try my luck do small exercise weda labour go start on its on.See me foolishly dey do squat and fast walking round the ward.Las las around almost 5pm they inserted the Almighty rope kinda stuff in my body after plenty lectures. I was expecting immediate reaction but for where!!,i no feel anything. I just lie down dey watch film just to distract myself.My friend started calling to know if it has started ,I kept telling her no that I was even surprised. I finally slept off as i no feel anything. I was already giving up since the midwife said if the one she gave me doesn't work she will try another one.I later woke up around 3am to mild cramps.Then I started timing it,it was 3mins apart but I still wasn't sure because I was expecting mad pains.Around to 4am the pains from no where just hit me.I did not know how I rushed to the bathroom to shower and before now I was peeing like puppy.The other white women were busy crying and calling their husband's name,as me no get husband around me,I was just shouting OUCH!!! I say make I follow posh too but my sisters when the pains increased I almost lifted my bed ,i no know when i begin shout woyoo!!!!When the midwife checked I was just 2cm jeeeez after all these pains I started shouting for epidural because I already booked for it, but instead she gave me gas and air,I almost threw it away when it wasn't helping in anyway.As she saw how the contraction was progressing she put a call cross to the delivery ward that they should prepare for me
but me I wasn't even expecting anything since I was just 2cm. Na so she trick me say she dey wheel me go epidural ward by this time other women don come my side dey look me probably out of pity.When I got there I felt like urinating as I enter toilet pee no gree comot o.I couldn't even come out.Them too come dey fear,so they kept shouting please don't push !!!!.When I finally came out I immediately felt the urge to push.See the way they were rushing to set things.I still wasn't expecting to push out baby because when the midwife checked again I was still 2cm.I over heard them saying "she's gonna pop out very soon" .At this point I was still believing I was in so much pain because of the induction. To cut tory short I sha pushed out my lil nigga at the 3push.Oga came out giving me 2nd degree tear.They called the doctor to come and stitch me.When she came she kept contemplating whether to carry me to theatre or not.They kept calling different doctors to come and check and this checking dey pain die.My jajaina turn tourist attraction .Las las she stitched me and I was OK.My sisters all these pains my labour was just 18mins.It was so fast but the pains na die.At a point I was begging them to tear me so that baby could come out because I was so weak and was struggling with sleep same time o.After cleaning up I immediately called hubby because I off my internet so nobody could get me on WhatsApp ,I wanted surprising them.Hubby couldn't even talk ,he was just staring and smiling while my father in-law and sister in-laws almost brought down the house with shout.I was the celebrity of the day o.Christmas baby and another boy,hubby won again.We just got circumcised few days ago.Please pardon any typo you see o,na left hand I dey use type because I dey breastfeed oga so no time to edit.I wish everyone a swift delivery. Do sitz bath twice or thrice daily add antiseptic like dettol to warm water let the vapour hit your anus. Eat fruits and stay hydrated.pls see your doc asap if symptoms persist,there's nothing to be ashame of
