When did I call it an attack?

Wait, you are making me believe you need mentions to feel alive because I have searched for your point and I still cannot find it.
You obviously got it all twisted, the human mind works different, think differently,we are not the same, even identical twins don't function the same, you might not need mentions to feel alive but someone else might do, what scares you could make me stronger vice versa,so the point is don't think she's weak because she took her own life for what you believe was irrelevant because that Is what YOU think, don't make the mistake of thinking she did not know the weight of her action, she simply thought differently it doesn't make her weak,it's just how people are,I know of people that doesn't scare when they face death but are devastated by what someone like you will call irrelevant things.

Exactly; you are making excuses over nothing my friend. Whats wrong with having a "different" mind? Why is it automatically a disease? What do you mean "escape her reality"? So your advice for a teenager is to escape from reality

If she is not well-socialised or has some anxieties then she needs to be given help, that is send her for volunteering with elderly people, orphans, disabled people etc let her see the other side of life. Or since she's interested in fashion and wants to be a model there are dance/catwalk classes she can attend that will improve her confidence.

You dont coddle people's weakness, you give them the tools to be able to overcome them.

Instead of you to tag social anxiety or depression as a reasonable point of reference for her behaviour, you suddenly jumped to extremes like PTSD and schizophrenia just to sound interesting.

We have a bad attitude to mental health in this country but in this case, it has nothing to do with Nigerians; any enlightened person on the planet will explain this to you. Youre the one who is being timid by overcompensating for personal weakness in a bid to look less "Nigerian".

Just like those ones the other day who insulted "Africans" for being afraid of owls, when countries all over the world cant cope with owls! Inferiority complex everywhere smh
The fact that you called it personal weakness means you've not learn anything and you do not know anything of significance to this discuss. I propose we stop the argument and just hold on to our personal believe sir, don't quote me again peace.

I know this already but my point is, suicide is a selfish heartless decision.

Why?

Number 1, you are someone's child. Meaning, there is a mother or even parents that love you and need you alive.

Number 2, family. There is a family, no matter how much you annoy and irritate them, they still need you alive.

Number 3, trauma and psychological pain. Do you know the trauma and psychological pain parents or siblings of suicide victims go through?

That pain that is caused from not really knowing how to have satisfied or helped that love one not feel so bad and depressed enough to kill them self.
It's a horrible and sometimes damaging pain.

Forgive me, because when I heard this story. All I could think about was a mentally unstable, selfish, self centered, heartless human being!

May she rip anyways.

Lol! Very good. I hope when your child starts wailing that everybody on the internet hates them, you will just leave them to sink further and further into the darkness of their mind because they need to "escape reality"

Whether originally from mental health issues or not, a personal weakness is a personal weakness and we all have them and need to work on them.

There is no crime in saying that and if her parents could have recognised that she needed professional help to overcome them, she may still be alive today.

As Painful and cruel as her decisions might it was her decision, sir I pray you do not find yourself in a situation that completely overpowers your mind, this things can be difficult and at that point in time all this people want is just an end without necessarily thinking about the consequences of their actions.

You are too harsh in your statements but still have a point! Thats what I was telling that guy.

Even if you are going through pain you still need to realise that there are other people who matter and not just you.

If you are so trapped inside your own thoughts you need somebody to correct you and give you different perspectives instead of pampering you all the time. That girl needed serious help and reorientation to let her see the light at the end of the tunnel

There is no need to sound defensive ,I do not hold sway on your believe, but i try to dive into things like this because it is my area of expertise, and i'm sure you cannot possibly undertand it like i do,my words were not that difficult to comprehend but it seems you still don't get the point, what you call 'personal weakness' does not in anyway influence this mental challenges. The fact that you think I disprove treatment further proves you don't understand what I've said at all. I put it to you again that it doesn't matter how strong you think you can face this mental challenges,it's just like autism, no one choses to be autistic,it choses you, so do not get all macho and look down on people going through this it could be you tomorrow. bigmoney88:
A teenage girl who was addicted to social media ended her life after she failed to get enough “likes” on her photos.

Chloe Davison, 19, was an aspiring model who relied on social media to feel good about herself, according to her older sister Jade.

“She thought she wasn’t good enough unless she was getting loads of likes and comments,” her 20-year-old sister said.

The selfie-loving teen hanged herself in her bedroom moments after she had been active on social media.

After the girl started using social media several year ago, “all she would talk about was how many likes she got,” her mum Clair Reynolds, 44, said.

“She was addicted to apps like Instagram and Snapchat,” said family friend Nick Coombs, 55, who had known Chloe since she was young.

“She would spend hours taking the perfect photo, but would delete it later if it didn’t get popular enough,” Coombs added.

Chloe struggled socially at school and rarely went out with friends, instead staying indoors and taking pictures of herself for social media.

The pretty 19-year-old was often targeted by online trolls who would send her nasty messages and mocked her appearance.

“Chloe was crying many nights because someone had said something horrible about her online,” her older sister Jade Davison told the news.

On Friday night, Chloe’s mum and sister returned home from a bar around 11:30pm, and found the teenager hanging in her bedroom.

Chloe had been taking selfies moments before she killed herself, according to Nick Coombs, 55, who was at the house when the brunette was found dead.

“When we took her body down, her hair and makeup were still perfect,” Coombs said. “She was wearing some new lingerie that she’d been excited to model.”

The girl’s mum, Clair Reynolds, said she blamed social media for what happened. “Social media took over Chloe’s life, whether that be Snapchat or Facebook.”

She added: “Chloe was beautiful, but she didn’t see that. She cared too much about how other people saw her.”

Coombs said that too many people felt they could say whatever they wanted to the attractive teen because it wasn't face-to-face.

“She’d get hundreds of messages each day, mostly men asking her for sexual stuff,” Coombs said. “Sometimes they were nice, but other times they told Chloe they wanted to hurt her.”

Both adults agreed that the girl had low self-esteem and relied on social media for reassurance.

The 19-year-old had thousands of social media followers when she killed herself.

See below photos of Chloe Davison.

Beautiful but unaware of her beauty.

Fine face, cute chest and Nice Stature.

If she had just a little fear of God in her that wouldn't have happened.

"The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom"

That is what happens mostly when you have parents who care less about Godly teachings.

Although i believe that its girls with low self-esteem that post nudes on the net, we shouldn't just assume her cause of death, i know the white can get emotionally unstable but it takes a lot to kill yourself, I'm still not convinced this was a suicide it looks like something set up

Hahaha you were the one who was very defensive, go back and check your comments!

And for your information you are not the only person who understands diagnostic criteria and treatment of mental illness so just climb your high horse and get out of my mentions my sweetheart!

By the way autistic children on the milder end of the spectrum need to be encouraged to go to school and improve their social interactions so that they will be able to live at least partially independently when theyre older. Thats the whole point; you dont just give up on somebody who has an issue. You find a workable solution that will give them a good chance in the future.

What am i even saying sef, we are all just a bunch of "dumb Nigerians" who should bow down to your superior knowledge, O your royal highness smh dont disturb me please, let me engage with enlightened people whom you are not a part of
