Except for rotation purposes, Williams should never sit for Shaw again. The guy is a joy to watch.
Unlike Shaw that is already back in the sick bay.
Shaw should be sold as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
Young, Shaw and Jones at first opportunity. if Bailly returns to the physio at any point before this season is over, he should be sold in the summer.

So we won today grin

I don even forget say we get game to play today.

Ole is a very intelligent scam. Every time the pressure is mounting he manages to win a game or 2 to ease the pressure then go back to default. Uselessness.

I can't be deceived 4- 0 or 10- 0 against Liverpool or any other too team will not allow me consider this guy for anything right now.

Rubbish!! angry

Kanye West voice: How can you be mad on vacation cheesy

Lol...Ole might be useless (I think the jury is still out on that) but to be honest we've weirdly flipped the script and started getting results against small teams and losing to big ones.

The narrative of #mufc going into Christmas was that they beat the big teams but struggle against the small[er] ones.

Since:
✅4-1 vs. Newcastle
✅2-0 vs. Burnley [A]
❌0-2 vs. Arsenal [A]
0-0 vs. Wolves [A]
❌1-3 vs. Man City
✅4-0 vs. Norwich

P.S With so many good young full backs in the club that AWB deal was so unnecessary.
Wan Bissaka is still developing, this guy is 22 which is still embryo stage for his position.
in recent games he's been trying to have a mind of his own in attack and I believe with overall better cohesion in their team play, it will improve.
I think his limitations right now is not lost on the coaching crew and he's going to be coached to try.

however, he's a player that can do really well if needed at RCB in a back three and may ultimately settle in as a CB. let's see healthy competition from the academy full backs though, it can only be a good thing.
I will say the purchase was bang on the money.

Without him, we might be down down the table.

Maybe. But an attacking full back on that side might have created more going forward.

I am talking more of long term though. In 2 years those boys might be more complete than him.

1. I did not bring any stats to my comment. It is you who even brought stats.

2. Fred passes the ball between the lines. I see that a lot even from last season. Most times, the rest players dont understand what he is trying to do because they were not used to such. McTominay plays fast. Only Matic and Pogna that are slow. The other day I watch Liverpool, they played slower than United midfilders. Mane even had to drop to carry the ball with speed forward.

3. In your stats of KDB, did you separate CAM from the CM position? This season alone he has played 6 times in CAM

Yes i did. I chose only CM and removed CAM, LW, RW.

This doesn't imply the midfield is poor. Based on your initial argument, the midfield is even to be praised, particularly as I was showing you guys that their chances created were higher than those of Liverpool
Just look at, Mos tof the goals we have scored is as a result of the individual play of our strikers. What we need is the kind of forward runs runs we saw from Williams and a supporting midfield cast. If you watched the Tottenham vs Liverpool game, you'd have seen the position occupied by Robertson and TAA as well as how high their midfield push up the pitch, is it too much to crave from ours?

A ultra-defensive full back at 22 can never become an attacking full back. 22 is not embryo for a full back, maybe fetal stage sha. lol

We don't need a defensive full back.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this.

Yes he is LIMITED by his age. He is not as good as he once was. He was mainly a mediocre winger for us but became a decent full back, and his days are numbered.
He was better and showed more potential at Villa.

As for Williams i wanted a more gradual introduction but the senior ones (Young, Shaw) are just too useless.

AWB has really improved... He gets forward and keeps the ball well.. Can control the ball and sometimes beats the defender with that his usual skill.. Let him just develop his crossing into the box and he will be up there.

I always felt it was not necessary when the rumors of our interest came up. I went to watch his Crystal Palace clips and raised my concerns about his lack of ability going forward, but they said it was cos he played for Palace. Now they say he will soon develop attacking ability......at 22.

The club is not well organized so its difficult to predict, but i won't be surprised if both Williams and Laird are more complete than him in 2 years.

If the potential was there, I'd have been willing to wait but no, Wan-Bissaka is just made to sit back and defend. In 2 years or thereabout, he'll most likely be surplus to requirement, I hood I am wrong though for his career here.

If he suddenly becomes the 2nd coming of Dani Alves or even Cafu while here i will gladly chop my L, but you can't give what you don't have.

I believe his crossing is even the best part of his game. The guy sabi cross.

The general consensus here has been he doesn't attack more often like other full backs.

AWB usually gets the ball in the final third but hardly whips it in the box.. His one time ball is bad..

Agree or not.........

AWB hs bn one of our best player dis season....
Currently I don't see any Right back better Dan him, in terms of defending.......

He was d defender with d highest tackles and interception in EPL last season,...... And leading d way dis season,......

Even Trent Alexander Arnold is only good in attacking, not in defending....

Focus ur energy on disposing Shaw, Jones and Lingard..... Not AWB aka SPIDER

Yes, 8 weeks! I think that was why maybe they stopped the sale of Matic.

I'm still looking forward to when Garner and the likes will be introduced into the senior team. Not rushed but a gradual process. Matic doesn't have that strength again and Fred, uhm... I'm afraid he should be rested. If he get injury, e don be be that oh.

Report: Ashley Young Rejects New Manchester United Contract; Eyes Inter Transfer

JANUARY 09, 2020
Manchester United's Ashley Young has reportedly turned down a contract extension in favour of a transfer to Serie A side Inter Milan.

Sky Sports initially revealed the Red Devils were hoping to convince Young to stay by offering him a new, one-year deal. But Gianluca Di Marzio has said Young turned it down and wants to move to Italy in January.

The 34-year-old will be a free agent in the summer, and according to BBC Sport, he has a deal to join the Nerazzurri when his contract expires:
