30 year old Gabonese and Arsenal's striker, Pierre-Aubameyang was sent off after a lengthy VAR review on his dangerous tackle on Crystal Palace Max Meyer at 67 minutes, it was initially a yellow card but was changed to a red after the VAR review.

The Arsenal's captain has become first Arsenal player to score in a match and be sent off in the same Premier League match since the club's manager, Mikel Arteta against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in 2013.

No player has scored more Premier League goals away from home this season than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, he has 9 goals in 12 away games and 14 premier league goals for the season. The 30 year old will now miss Arsenal's next 3 games due to suspension, he will not be playing against Sheffield United, Chelsea FC and Bournemouth. This is definitely a very big blow for the Gooners, as they will be playing without their best player.

Fans have taken to their social media handles to commend the decision of the VAR, calling it a right one :
"Aubameyang deserved to go, but it was a clumsy strikers challenge, don't believe for a second he meant to catch the guy.
Everyone's work rate is a joy to see under Arteta, I love it!"

Another tweeted : "That Aubameyang tackle is 100% a red ive no complaints but do I think an opposition player would be sent off if he did that to an Arsenal player? NO. That's what I have a problem with"

This further explains why Aubameyang will end up winning no tangible trophy in Arsenal like Aterta did.
