WE CAN COPY THAILAND'S - RUN AGAINST DICTATORSHIP

As one of the writer's I follow on social media says: We (Nigerians/Africans) are NOT as helpless as we tell ourselves. And that is true!

Today in Thailand around 10,000 Thais joined a "run against dictatorship"shouting slogans and wielding three-finger salutes from the Hunger Games films. By the way, the leader of Thailand's "Run against dictatorship" is a BILLIONAIRE so wealthy Nigerians who refuse to organise protests because ME, MYSELF & I am well fed and "lack nothing" have no excuse before God.

Title of the article is: Anti-govt fun run draws thousands of defiant Thais
https://www.france24.com/en/20200112-anti-govt-fun-run-draws-thousands-of-defiant-thais

WE TOO IN NIGERIA CAN DO OUR OWN RUN AGAINST DICTATORSHIP, RUN AGAINST CORRUPTION, RUN AGAINST RUGA, RUN AGAINST NO ELECTRICITY etc

We have other non-violent methods of protesting which was in that Facebook:

".......People Power is "soft power" in that it does not involve the use of weapons or violence, but it is still a POWER.

People Power involves using our NUMERICAL STRENGTH to bring about change that benefits the people, methods being NON-VIOLENT such as:
--- Rallies
--- Open air concerts (songs with a message)
--- Carnivals (with themed messages)
--- Plays and films with a message (can also be open air)
--- Demonstrations
--- Protests
--- Online and paper petitions
--- Campaigns
--- Social media appeals
--- Keeping political representatives accountable to citizens
--- Supporting and pushing for legislation that is anti-corruption and pro-people such as the notable Bribecode, a proposed anti-corruption Bill (link here http://bribecode.org/)
--- Police and law enforcement agencies should never forget that they are part of the people, work for the people, and should morally support People Power as is done in civilised countries.
--- Armed Forces should act in a moral way to protect the people and the country from those who would destroy the country they have sworn before God to protect: and looters are destroying Nigeria...."

If any group of miscreants gather to disturb the peace of the nation, then the security agents will use such miscreants for shooting practice.

When Goatluck Jonathan was looting and sharing our treasury, you did not protest because the drunk ineffectual buffoon was smiling around.

I voted for Major General Muhammadu Buhari, a military turned civilian no nonsense dictator. If you want a smiling civilian looter, go get one of them and meet us at the elections, anything less than that will be meet with several bullets and tear gas by the security agents.

I hope someday, education and understanding will win people over the separation of religion and ethnicity.
This people that call themselves leaders are not atheists and aliens. They are not even idol worshipers. They are Christians and Muslims and they are from every ethnic groups. But they take advantage of the ignoramus and illiterates because more than half of Nigerians falls into that category. Someway somehow...they may not be able to sustain that strategy and fail. Even though 'education' is suffering severely in this country, someday freedom shall come to stay ... even if it will with a price.

When our women STOP wearing oyeebo-style and even oyeebo hair on their heads you can say what you are saying.

When our people STOP driving oyeebo made cars you can say what you are saying.

When our people STOP communicating (eg writing) in oyeebo language and use African one among ourselves you can say what you are saying.

If you join other saboteurs to disturb the peace of the nation, trigger happy security agents will be waiting for you. What did you do when Goatluck Jonathan was looting with his family and friends?
