This is true, the change in the calender caused new year to be changed from April 1 to January 1, and those who celebrated new year on the 1st of April were termed 'FOOLS' hence the term April Fools day.
really? Never knew

You mean the author was using for week days and mysteriously changed it to 7 abi?
As in He used 4 week days for Methuselah and was adding one one hour so that their age will be reducing?

the Author of Genesis had the story from his own ancestor as a mythology so he simply wrote what he had and not calculate the days

ABCthings:
why while he use one timeline for Methuselah, use it for shem in chap 11 vs 10 and suddenly change it for terah?

because he got metuselah's story like any other mythology just as you had of Ogun and Amadioha Moses also grew up hearing the story and wrote what he heard

Space and time are relative, only speed of light is absolute. If you and I move relative to each other, what I call space must be a mixture of your space and your time, and what you call space must be a mixture of my space and my time. the warpage of space and time are so interwoven in an invisible fabric in hyperspace such that they cannot exist independently. The descrepancy in Julian and Gregorian calendar and even the world acclaimed atomic clock only shows that timeframes for world view is different from the master creator of the universe which is God's time. Gods time is the best.

Please, can we just argue intellectually without always bringing God to all matters? This is pure history, not matter of faith.

God dictated it to Moses and If you check the laws you'll see that there was always 7 days. In fact from Genesis 1 the days were 7

You have no point, Happi Sunday. undecided

Okay. I hope you know nobody was there, these were stories told mouth to mouth over centuries, until the writing era...
