LegendHero: I googled "Napoleon complex"...it says,...."A theorised inferiority complex normally attributed to people of short stature"..... Then, I looked at the graph closely, I saw the history of Lagos State revenue from 1998 to 2018. I divided up the revenue of 1998 to that of 2018 and I find out, the revenue grew 31 times over the stated period. You also stated that my analogy is a figment of my imagination. Hmmm...I think, I got the logic of your argument. |

Even though I don't subscribe to the kind of inter-tribal contests going on on Nairaland but your write up is misleading and I need to point it out for the benefits of those reading this comments. 1) Carefully selected pictures of few houses/industries , beer parlour gossips and wishful thinking are NOT acceptable means of comparing developments of States/Countries. 2) If you want to compare developments in Anambra with that of Ogun States, you can compare the following parameters; a) GNI per capital in USD (Ogun's 2,297 Vs Anambra's 860) b) Human Development Index ( Ogun's 0.549 Vs Anambra's 0.471) c) Poverty rates Source: National Human Development Reports (2018). http://hdr.undp.org/sites/default/files/hdr_2018_nigeria_finalfinalx3.pdf Anambralstson: 6 Likes |

SirToby:There are some towns in Yoruba land that answer Igbo names, Jim Okechukwu Ovia is from Ika in Agbor not from Edo State , Ika people are subgroup of Igbos. They are found in Delta and Edo states of southern Nigeria. Ika people are regarded as western Igbos. Ovia is Igbo name 3 Likes

Area4Area: We only worked on what have on the ground. And mind you too, if we are to go by your own logic the stats should, therefore, be nullified. Don't you think so? And mind you, again, not all SW states are on the list too, right? So, whatyasay? Which one nah |

From my extensive research it's clear GTBank is foreign own bank, I have searched all the shareholders yet to see a Nigeria firm or Nigeria shareholder, majority of the shareholders are UK firms no wonder UK flag was indicated on top unlike other Nigerian banks with Nigeria Flag 3 Likes

knowledgeable: This is Napoleon complex below. Can you see the definition captures your earlier thought perfectly? “Aggressive domineering social behavior and lying about earnings which most times is a compensation for a subject social shortcomings” If you dig further to the definition about the syndrome, you will see that each point captures your mindset. Ignore the short man effect in the definition coz scientist already said the theory ain’t only for short men. Finally bro, what I’m saying is that sometimes trying to take glory for other people sweat is akin to denying them of their heritage. We all know that everyone in Lagos will one way or the other contribute to her success just like everyone in USA is contributing to her success. But it’s absurd for a group to always claim to develop it by overlooking the hard work of the indigenous inhabitants and other foreigners within the space. 1 Like

Anambralstson:You are very right. Some towns in Yoruba land answer Igbo names, like: Igbomina Ijebu-Igbo Oke-Igbo Igbo-Ora. In fact any places in Yoruba land with an Igbo Prefix or Suffix belongs to the Igbos. That means the likes of Ex-Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed from Igbomina tribe in Kwara is Igbo Hon. Muraina Ajibola from Igbo-Ora is Igbo. The mass delusion and ignorance gaining ground in you peoples mind is shocking!! Una go dey alright las las. 5 Likes |

Anambralstson: You don’t know what you are saying. Read this and apply investment sense while reading, DON’T just read like a novice: https://www.pressreader.com/nigeria/thisday/20180716/281479277190080 On the side note: OANDO already said Volpi ain’t their Shareholders. Read that link I pasted up here to know why you thought Volpi was a shareholder in OANDO. It was all due to a case where Volpi Ansbury investment claimed they owed his some money. 1 Like 1 Share
