You were looking at totals. He who plays the most games gets the highest total, but doesn't translate to how likely a player is going to get a a task done as compared to another player who didn't have the opportunity to play as many games.

This season for instance, Pogba has 1 big chance created and some players like James on 6. If you want to get the fair comparison, take the stats by minutes played
