The best place to know the actual price is on WES website. Use google for this information.

]Hello everyone and congratulations to those that got their ITA, we'll all testify.

Please I would like to know how much it cost to evaluate credentials now using WES cause I have come across different prices.

And please who knows if Unilag still issues Diploma certificate.

Kindly help a sister...

To start on this EE journey you need to read and do research on your own. Page 1 of this thread has a lot of information that has been useful to many of us. Start by reading page 1 to have an understanding of the process and then ask questions that you can’t find the answer on page 1.

However, I will respond to your questions.

1. You can evaluate both but it’s advised to evaluate the highest qualification. See page 1 to compare the different evaluation bodies, requirements and timelines

2. Some people choose the unaccompaning spouse route so you may be ok but your hubs may decide to join in later

3. Use the CRS calculator ( link can be found on page 1) to check your eligibility and score

4. Start preparing for IELTS

All other details can be found on page 1 if you take your time to read it.

Cheers

OND and HND can give you 2 or more certification when evaluated, which gives you more points.

BSc is a stand alone degree and the point is lower that 2 or more certificate.

I used my husbands surname to register on WES. (the registration page at the beginning)

However, when i got to the education part, where i am to fill in details for education, i filled my fathers name (maiden name)., cos that's the name on my B.Sc certificate.

I hope i am on track?

This is not applicable if you did biometrics at the same place and if you had your biometrics slip. Learnt this, this past week and it's also on CiC website. I didn't pay anything. Thanks for sharing.

By biometric slip, do you mean the biometrics collection letter from a previous TRV application for example?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by bekayy: 12:49pm On Jan 13, 2020
The slip like a receipt given to you at the VFS office.

Hello House,
I opened my Wes account in 2015 and since stopped the process. I was given a reference number. I want to continue the process now. Can I use the old reference number or I need to create a new account.

I have ND and HND in engineering but I still which to improve my crs scores, I have not entered the pool yet. I am thinking of going for an MBA with my hnd so I can enter the pool at masters level. What do you think about this move?
Is it wise and is it acceptable?
Difference between 2 or more cert and Masters is just about 10 or thereabout.. use that time and learn French which can add over 40 points to your score.. or you can do both if you've got time in your hands.. cheesy

Good afternoon everyone. I'm seriously considering the express entry program and I'm weighing my options carefully in advance. Pls don't mind my long post, I need advise on my confused state. I graduated with a bachelor's degree and pgd in Microbiology, have one year Nysc experience as a biology teacher in 2010/11. But since then, I've not worked with my certificate. But into cake making on demand, I also can sew clothes very well. I have a CAC registered company certificate but no company account
and no tax return paid. What can I do to prove my work experience of over 8 years and that I'm being paid. I'm married with 2 kids and hubby have all it takes aside age.
Kindly help an inquisitive soul. Trying to find answers which is why I just joined nairaland this afternoon. Thanks in advance

Thanks for this info, was really helpful. Learning french from scratch will be a bit tough. What other options do I have to increase my points. I am a single guy going solo. smiley

Hello House,

I submitted my passport on Thursday, 9th January 2020. This morning I got this email "Visa application, tracking ID No. xxxxx CALAPKTxxxxx has been dispatched to OC from VAC, on 2020-01-13 07:51:03 AM GMT Standard Time for processing.

When I checked online, this was the message displayed - Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxx CALAPKTxxxxx. Your processed passport has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 2020/01/13 and is ready for collection. Can anyone clarify this?

Hello house, I intend3d to take my boyfriend on this journey with me. My points are really good. I planned to add him post AOR as a couple and we agreed. He says he spoke to his family about it and they told him not to go and he broke up with me almost immediately. He does not even talk to me again. Am I Wrong to have asked him to come along or to have proposed This? This is giving me sleepless nights and I can’t help but feel bad. I have started my process but my joy can’t seem to be full.

Oh ye lady! Rejoice for you both seem no destined for each other. It can be argued that he has no real affection for you.

I understand you're heart broken now, but life goes on. He might regret his actions later, but you would have moved on by that time. You did absolutely nothing wrong, in fact, you were doing him a favor. Relax, you'll surely find your soul mate sooner than later.

Something tells me he's a mommy's boy who does not know What he wants yet, so let him be and continue your journey.

Let nobody born of a woman give you sleepless nights please. Your sanity is very important.

Hi DrAngie,

Happy New Year to you. Thanks for your feedback.

Could you please share a means of contacting IRCC to check the status of my application; I've sent a few emails but haven't received any reply.

Also, did you receive a confirmation email from VFS when you submitted your passport for transmission? I didn't receive any so I have no idea what's going on.

Best regards
Abdul

DrAngie:
Can’t say yet cos I submitted a little over a week ago @ VFS and last I checked, was told it’s still being processed.
