Hi, My husband has 2 children from a previous marriage who will not be accompanying us as the mother has primary custody. Do they need to have valid passports as well when we register for EE? Thank you.

Thanks and God bless
Mrsc22:
If you have OND and HND you dont need BCS. That is 2 certificates already. The only improvement is a master or PHD degree. You are already 2 or more certificate. BCS wont be useful in that regard.

To my selfless nairaland family please I am here with another question that need quick answer

I have started the ECA process with WES, I have made payment and my school may likely send the transcript to wes tomorrow or next.

MY QUESTION:
Do I need to post the photocopies of my ND and HND to WES? Please what is the acceptable means to get it across to them Awaiting your kind response as usual. God bless you

please I need help on this. Candid and workable advises please

You can use your NYSC work experience to qualify for Express entry FSW stream.

How old are you if less than 30..the better.

Write the IELTS..you want to hit between band 8 and 9.

Then create your express entry profile.

Get your B.Sc assessed with WES.

After several attempt communicating with several MP, I now got an update on my application saying I should upload ielts

passionate2019:
@Ebixx,

You got it right, that was just it. However I was able to realize this before the 23rd deadline.

And sent a second webform. The reason I decided to use the standard one was before , when the request was made initially I belived a copy was already sent to IRCC sometime early this year. What I did this month was a duplicate copy.

They need to do medicals and to do medicals, they will need their International passport... all kids of either spouses whether accompanying or unaccompanying must be declared and medicals done..

Of course it is. I do hope those are the results that counted towards your CRS, some components are relatively low. Now that your application has been reopened, best of luck.

Good morning house, can i evaluate HND and BSC as two or more certificate or just OND and HND so as to get more points.

Also on CRS calculator is there anywhere they will ask if the spouse has foreign work experience?.

thanks all.

Any option is fine. Its still 2 or more certificate. I will say use your bsc and hnd.

Check the CRS calculator to confirm that.

hi guys..

Please i need ur clarification regarding WES.

I used my husbands surname to register on WES. (the registration page at the beginning)

However, when i got to the education part, where i am to fill in details for education, i filled my fathers name (maiden name)., cos that's the name on my B.Sc certificate.

I hope i am on track?
Yes, you are on track. Just send evidence of change of name with your credentials

Your post is misleading and will lead to further confusion. There's no "technicality" about government work. It's either you work for the government or you don't. NYSC is a government program not government work. If you worked in a non-governmental organisation during NYSC, you didn't work for the government. If you worked for the government, agency or parastatal, then you worked for the government
That's correct. NYSC is just a government programme.

Thanks for your response and encouragement. I'm above 30, 32 to be precise. I have a Postgraduate diploma alongside the Bsc. Will Wes rate my pgd as two or more certificates or as a masters(clue on credentials evaluation please) Husband has all it takes but he is 39. He had masters from unilag and he has close to 10 years work experience. Any chance for us.

evaluating HND and BSC will give you the same points as HND and OND. If you're considering WES, evaluating OND certificate is compulsory for HND holders.
On the CRS calculator, only Canadian work experience of your spouse counts.

Hello People,

Do i have to include my spouse's work experience history in my EE PROFILE? Also, will it be required to provide evidence of work experience (e.g) employer letter for a spouse, post ITA.

Pls help to clarify.

Thanks
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by ifyjip(f): 8:54am On Jan 14, 2020
Thnks dear pls is there any way I can get your WhatsApp number? [quote author=yemiciea post=85756990]To start on this EE journey you need to read and do research on your own. Page 1 of this thread has a lot of information that has been useful to many of us. Start by reading page 1 to have an understanding of the process and then ask questions that you can’t find the answer on page 1.

However, I will respond to your questions.

1. You can evaluate both but it’s advised to evaluate the highest qualification. See page 1 to compare the different evaluation bodies, requirements and timelines

2. Some people choose the unaccompaning spouse route so you may be ok but your hubs may decide to join in later

3. Use the CRS calculator ( link can be found on page 1) to check your eligibility and score

4. Start preparing for IELTS

All other details can be found on page 1 if you take your time to read it.

Cheers

Happy new year to you too.
You can raise a CSE using this link https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
If you keep checking your account you might see a GU when a final decision has been made and your application has been approved with your passport stamped. I got a mail saying I should check my account. Passports were stamped on the 30th, account was updated on the 31st. I received a confirmation mail from VFS and the same day I submitted the passports(on the 11th). Never got any PUM from VFS just decided to go pick it up 10 days after my account was updated.

Thanks so much for your response....so it's okay to just do OND and HND right?since OND is compulsory for HND EVALUATION.
