Get A’s in all the remainder of your courses, especially the high Unit courses.
And your dissertation.
You will get into 4.5 and comfortably too.
I made a 4.64 or so (if I recall well). Narrow escape. My story is similar to yours. I sat up in my 2nd year. From 2nd year onwards, I was ruthless in execution.
You are almost there. I am optimistic for you. You have to be positive, prayerful and RUTHLESS.

Ignore the naysayers here. Your first class will, with God’s help, open countless doors for you.

sire, you are very hardworking and you should keep it up. I know a guy who never achieved first class cgpa till his final semester at the uni. just aim to max out all your courses.

Easy question, simple answer - keep your units low meaning avoid taking any elective that adds nothing to your bottomline. Find out exactly how many units you need to graduate. Divide the total units by the number of semesters you have left, and keep it simple but full of hardwork for the remaining 4 semesters. For example, say, you need 40 to make total of 120 to graduate, split the 40 by 4 to get 10 units per semester and do just that till you graduate. You re better off with your compulsories, a minimal total unit required for graduating than a maximum number which only increases units used to divide your total at the end.

You need to get a GP of 4.74 each of the four remaining semesters to land 4.5 CGPA but you can still get 4.63 if you will have 5 points on each of the remaining semesters.

Try and get your handbook, then look at the various units of the courses ahead of you, then do the necessary calculations, in that way you will know if you will graduate with first class.

Well here is my take for op. It's really a great thing to chase First Class, but never allow this take away the real reason for being in school; To learn and get educated all round. What Nigerians need now are people who can think and solve problems, but unfortunately, we aren't taught all this within the four corners of the classroom. You could choose what your heart wants, but remember that it's all about how fulfilled we are within our hearts and what we want now might not be what we want tomorrow.

Its very possible. You need someone to teach you how to calculate cgpa. The number of unit course you offer matters. Try and meet up with 4.6 every semester.

Dont allow any gp below 4.8. I mean a 4.8 at least every symester should get u there. Best of luck. We pray against any situation beyond your control. Aim at it boy u will be there.

If you are so smart and want to finish with a first-class and yet can't sit down and calculate what GP you need for your remaining semester to finish with a first-class.
