Thank boss.
Yes am using it for uber but on weekends (Saturday n Sundays) that's when I use it actively.

Mobil oil (not so sure of the type) is what I use as that was my first service of the car since I bought it. I'm open to to any suggested oil that can withstand the hustle. Someone recommended I use Rozarium 5w30 on my next service of the car.

If i may ask, what is the difference between mineral technology and synthetic oil and what mileage i mgy suppose cover before servicing?

You can check the cap of the engine to chek d specifiks/ weight of the oil.

But regardless, stick to the particular BRAND of oil you HV been using.

From my layman's understanding, the difference is in d cost.

Mineral technology- 3,800 - 4,8000 / 4 litre keg

Synthetic - around 16k.

So from d price, you would know which category u use.

From experience, I blv regular change of oils prevents sludge formation in the engine.

It depends on repayment plan/structure, do you intend to pay back weekly or monthly and how much is the agreed amount per installment.

2m for me is much to take as a loan for a car. Why not save up like 1m and take the other in form of loan?

What happens if Uber / Bolt suspends your account, how do you want to meet up? The fares are low and I wouldn’t advice you to go ahead.

Just my opinion.

God bless you!

Deedee44 have said it all. It all boils down on the repayment structure.
But one candid advice I have for you is to work out a repayment plan that can accommodate your monthly salary conveniently so as not to subject yourself into an undue pressure.

Also, he didn't state the terms of loan , like interest rate.

Also, the 8-5 work, is it demanding cos driving on uber n taxify takes two things,

1. Your time
2. Physical exhaustion

Can they put the terms of the loan like 50k monthly, so you just need to make like 12.5k for the car every week.

Drivers that make a lot of incredible earnings on uber/ bolt literally have ZERO social life, they are always in the car n on the road.

I'm saying this cos, if you have family, on weekends , you will b unavsilable for them, no more time so as to meet up.

If you can make the terms like 45k monthly , since you have only 8- 10 days to work in a given month, that wud b good.

That wud put less pressure on you and the car.

PS: It wud Only Work if YOU drive the car urself, DON'T be Tempted to SUBLET the car to another Driver.

DON'T be tempted to SUBLET on weekdays

Work the what you can on weekends and
Providence will make your expectations align.

Goodluck!

Sorry to hear that about your business.

Not a bad one.

I’m also of the opinion you shouldn’t do beyond a 1.6m if it’s a Corolla. 2005 model is just ok, that way, you can do a comprehensive insurance of say a 40/50k, Reg. 45/50k, tyres about 40k, and a few other expenditures.

Account suspension could come in any form ranging from too many cancellations; Uber might not even give you a specific reason.
E-hailing is just a means to an end; not an end in itself; you’d see for yourself with time; you go to bad roads and have to repair the vehicle with what’s made in some instances coupled with very low fares.

Since you’d be doing weekends; commission would be on 20-25%. Do the maths.

Whatever you go with, I wish you the best.

God bless you!
