segzyndpep:Yes it will pass and this applies to @adetayoade1 One week is even too long but it’s safe. Another good thing you have mentioned is paying your first semester fees. That will help a lot and then your target in your(self sponsor) account should be $10k LE and the balance of your tuition fee. So do the maths. Or get a backup sponsor who must be a relative(same surname)/husband if married. 1 Like |

Adetayoade1:I am not a guru but only write from experience and I have personally and directly learnt a few from those you mentioned included Frank. For better input, I advise that you don’t mention anybody so as to give others room to help with their thoughts. The wilder the better. 1 Like |

segzyndpep: Hello Segzyndpep, It would be advisable not to bother putting in an application. If you succeed in paying your first semester tuition fees, then how would you be able to convince the VO of being able to pay for your second semester fees with 300k with any impression of working by the VO. The best you could do is to get a sponsor or improve on your funds that would be sufficient to cover your tuition cost and LE. All the best. 2 Likes |

Adetayoade1: Hello Adetayoade1, I am not a guru, I should be addressed by my moniker only. As long as he is a relative, whether distance or not, you can 1. Draw a family tree to trace the relationship 2. Connect the individual through the closest or strongest family link closer to you. 3. Swear an affidavit to the effect and detailing the erstwhile financial responsibilities towards you. 4. Explain it in both your study plan and the sponsor's LOS. 5. Affidavit from your parents or the head of your family recognizing and affirming any previous financial sponsorship or responsibility. 6. Any documents from previous commitment 7. etc I am not a guru. I prefer to be addressed by my moniker. All the best. 1 Like |

segzyndpep:So what happens when it is time to pay the other part of your tuition fee? It is not advisable to do that except if the person genuinely gives you the money to pay for your fees and not just to put in account and then removed |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 12:53pm On Jan 16, 2020 |
Adetayoade1:The best proof you need is for the sponsor to pay your tuition fee and also transfer your living expenses into your personal bank account (since he is a 3rd party). Any other thing apart from this will not be convincing enough 2 Likes |

Anon123:The duration isn't that important in this case as long as the applicant and sponsor explain it in their SOP and letter of support/sponsorship. The issue I have here is that the applicant just want someone to out money in his account then after printing the statement he will return the money back to the owner (which is like trying to trick CIC to believing he has enough fund to cover his study). 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 2:28pm On Jan 16, 2020 |
segzyndpep:It will be safe to defer till you raise the money (since your school allows you to defer), you won't regret it. Good luck |
