Pls Lawyers in the House, since IQAS paused ECA applications. Has anyone tried using CES whether they evaluate LLB as a Professional degree.

I have searched everywhere on the internet and I'm yet to get a concrete answer.

Good evening everyone,

Please I need a reliable contact in Law School Abuja that can assist with my transcript. It’s really not convenient travelling down there with my little one. Can it be done from Lagos without me going to Abuja?

Who has used CES? Do I also need to to courier copies of my certificate although I have uploaded copies on my application.

Also my transcript from Ife is taking so long. Please I need used and tested contacts that can help fast track this processes for me . Thank you all

Hello, did you finally use CES. Have you confirmed how they evaluate LLB?

Hi dear, just going through the thread. I am also a lawyer and I’m evaluating my LLB and BL with CES. I called their office and was asked to still make my application. So I applied as two or more degrees. I’m still trying to process my law school transcript. I’m hoping it’s evaluated as a professional degree which is way better than WES

That means you are paying over 400cad

We've entered our 10th month post AOR. No update whatsoever. Response to mails sent was the generic "your documents are on queue for review". I saw a timeline of Dec 2018 AOR. I just weak. Order the GCMS notes so you can know how far. Someone got PPR this week, had an interview with AVO I learnt. I'm not aware of any other PPR from AVO.

Hello, I am a newbie to this Canada Express entry. Having used the point calculator, I arrived at 418.

CRA seems to be on the rise and I know 418 just might be low so I need to know how best to augment my point. Here is my profile for your advice

Age: 31
Qualification: Bachelors
Experience: 8 years in administrative full time job
IELTS: yet to write but I aim for 8,7,7,7
No masters degree and no sibling in Canada.

Is this going to be feasible for me? I need help please

my 2kobo:

EE is feasible, but, you need more than 8777 in your IELTS, prepare to max out.
you need more than BSC, 2 or more certificate is the least u can do.

quick one.. did you make any payment during your biometrics because i paid 8,200 when i went to submit my passport even after presenting the slip.

NanaF:
Finally submitted my passport today alongside my biometrics slip and was not asked for any money.

Please whoever can should update Page 1 with this info.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Eagles92(m): 10:59am On Jan 17, 2020
ETX-ng is a useless company.

They will waste your time and effort.

Let me explain their process to you: They charge their customers for getting their transcripts to the requested destinations, get these transcripts and collate them till it gets to a certain number, for each destination, then they dispatch. This way, they are able to save money by paying for just one dispatch.

It sometimes take up to three months for them to get these numbers, and you will be here waiting.

If you have a contact in your skool, abeg run am on ya own and dont let them waste your time.

Hello,
Please which of the VFS office did you submit, Abuja or Lagos. We need that info here, because it looks like only Abuja honours that clause on their website from COPR stories here.

Many thanks

Lagos now honors the clause too.

I was already given a Dec 6 date for completion only for them to change my status to verification. I called them & was told they want to undergo 2nd verification. And you know naija schools, they just went to sleep during Xmas & new year break. They just recently respond to the 2nd verification. Las las, na to exercise patience.
This is true have been on mine since june ,got a message from WES that all would be completed 7th of jan only for them to say again that there would be delay to west African countries to the high level of fraud that had been discovered.they would do some due diligence before escalating to the school.

There has been mixed stories about this. While some of us paid, others didn't. Moreover, it seems like a legit payment because a receipt was issued with the line "Package transmission: NGN 7430" (email notification only). What isn't clear is why payment isn't uniform.

First create an account on wes and evaluate your degree... For IELTS Try and get at least L 8.5 or above, R 7.5 or 8 and above then the rest 7 or above. Create an account an enter the pool, click on all the province for where you would like to live, Administrative job is part of Alberta pnp job in demand, so you might get nominated. if nothing happen for a while then you get get a 2nd degree... PS this is just my advice and these are the info i got from Pnp page. i'm still on my own process too ‍♂️

Yes it has.

Unfortunately, I’m too exhausted from the wait of almost 1 year to think up any PPR story. I’ve shared extracts from my GCMS notes on what caused the delay in my previous posts.

You need to be strategic. Get your ECA and IELTS (study to max out at L 8.5 R 8 S 7.5 W 7.5 ) to enter the pool. With max IELTS you will have additional 12 points, that is 430.

In the meantime, do the following simultaneously

1. Try to explore PNP possibilities for your NOC. (600 points = ITA, what are the odds tho)
2. Research BCS and CIMA to get additional certificate. (+ 33 points = 463, not enough alone for now)
3. Learn french and pass TEF up to CLB 7, high B2 . (+ 42 points = 472 points) enough? who knows the future

Combine these to get your goal. it will take dedication, hard work, luck and 101% effort.
