Please leave Kemi out of this.

Nigeria has a new finance minister now.

Address the issue properly.

It appears she's just another fine lady with an empty medulla oblongata
u dey mind the guy? He don't even know they have finance minister since how many yrs ago. That's the type of youths we have, youths that don't know anything about their country.
Still calling kemi who is in London living her life.

Debt upon debt.
Which way Nigeria. Which way to go.

By the way, have you thought of this lately :

What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world but looses his soul, what shall he give in exchange for his soul.

If you are reading this and you don’t know Jesus yet neither have you accepted him as your lord and saviour, I welcome you to receive him into your life.

You are the reason why he died many years ago.
Yes you. Apostle Paul said “this is a reasonable and accepted saying, that Jesus died for sinners of whom I am a chief”

Please don’t allow his death to go in vain over you.
He loves you , he really does.

You might be a church goer, it is of no use if you don’t have a relationship with the owner of the church.

Rev 3:20 He stands at the door of your life and is calling you to come now. Please answer this call and be saved.

[quote author=Yankee101 post=85887278]Very dumb govt

How can you finance a deficit budget every single year? Can't you try a balanced budget for once all derived from revenue?

I'm not surprised, its a clueless government, so Nigerians should expected more. I wonder why they can't reduce the cost of running the country. In fact yesterday i commented on a thread where some fools where debating on "Woman Not Created From Her Husband's Rib" please how will this better the country? Debt want to finish the country and some fools are debating on unwarranted topic. undecided

If Nigeria split who will pay? Biafra or arewa ? undecided

When (not if) Nigeria splits, the debt would be shared among the regions, of course. It should be clear to any discerning mind that Nigeria is headed for disintegration. An American organization predicted it and it would happen. Nigeria is not working.

Every day, this government will be borrowing money up and down with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Who will pay all these loans?

Buhari’s destiny is to bankrupt our country with reckless looting and corruption just like Abacha, his role model.

Thank God Yorubas are slowly and steadily restructuring

by the time we take most of our National Assets (Roads, Stadia etc),
have two state owned Deep seaport (Ibejulekki and Ondo)
Have Our own secuirity "AMOTEKUN"
Have the largest refinery on our soil

This knuckle heads can kill themselves with debt, thinking another Yoruba man would help them beg like Obasanjo for debt relief..

Last Last after we get killed by debt burden and all our National income goes to debt servicing, only the region with state Internaly Generated Revenue would survive by that time Poverty level in their region would be 100% by that time they would look back and start cursing their leaders

They will never give you the desired state. Biafra tried it then it was not allowed, how do you think it will be allowed especially as you said with the huge igr of Lagos? Abi don't you know how much Lagos brings in taxes from alcoholic beverages, sea port, businesses etc to the federal budget which is what sustains the North? Heck check out NPA Lagos, an aboki must always be the head!

you dont know the current game plan is to render Northern NPA useless in Apapa while Ibeju lekki florishes, pump in massive fund from secirity vote to Amotekun and make Police redundant... if you follow the DAWN commision agenda then you would understand how the strategic restructuring works

I can't just understand this our leaders, every year the borrowing keeps on increasing. What is the gain of borrowing when you can't, manage and generate income with the one you borrowed.

Instead to borrow, use that money to invest and develop the country so that in return we can pay our debt.

And maybe if we still seek for another loan the loan won't be as high as the previous one because the money is been utilized well.

I just don't know how we keep running government on loan loan loan,.

[s][/s]Chronic indiscriminate taxation or borrowing by this rudderless government confirms its utter hypocrisy, cluelessness, financial indiscipline and corruption.

No nation survive economically on senseless borrowings not when such is to service debts as that is not debt payment especially in an economy that is import dependent.
