I have been having slightly the same issue, but a bit worse. I submitted all my documents, and my institution has sent verification to WES. WES confirmed receipt of the verification and updated my status to "Evaluation in progress" without a due date of completion. This was on the 30th December 2019. Since then my status has from "Evaluation in progress" to "On Hold" two times now, each time WES sending me this email:

I am confused as to what to do, because each time I call to ask what exactly the problem is, the guys on the customer care line have no clue, they just give you rehearsed responses and read exactly what you can see on your screen, as if you don't have access to your account . My school is yet to receive any sort of re-evaluation of any sorts. Please, can anyone explain to me the hell is going on, this whole WES episode quite frustrating; to even think that I had crossed the greatest hurdle of getting transcripts and verification sent from this our quack Nigerian university offices.

Bro, you just have to be patient with them..... I’ll advise you to go back to your school and inform them about it....... that email sent to you , was the exact same email I got during my time..... and please, make sure you request for your own copy from WES..... just go back to your school and tell them..... if you see how I was traveling from Lagos to Abia when I was doing mine, you’d think I was a transporter.... WES stress too much

It means they have not received your statements of results..


Use hellofax to send them. Make sure you write your reference number on each.

Your name should already be on the certificate so you can write your reference number boldly on it before you scan. Just make sure it doesn't cover any important part.


Or you can download the app called camscanner. With that you take a picture of the certificate and the app will edit it nicely for you. With that you can even type your reference number and paste it on the certificate then you send it.

I just read your question again. You don't have to put your details on the hellofax page once you do it like u have shown you. You only select add file and upload the scanned documents and send. That's how is did mine and they received it just fine.

I think you have to pay before WES starts anything on your file. Verify this information though.

Hi, few things you can do, first, go on twitter and message them there, let them know your school replied already, why is your account still showing on hold. If u don't get a response after two days, message them again. It could be a human error.

They will tell u what is going on and why they need another verification.

You might have to pay your school again to verify your certificate.

The mistake u made was not sending your certificate early. WES would have sent both your certificate and transcript back to your school for verification.

I just hope your school doesn't charge you to verify the cert.

Please oooooooo.... Who has contact in uniben oooo....it's Like it's difficult to get doc verified in Benin anyone with reliable way out

I sent mine several times using hellofax, they received it BUT later on my status on my dashboard changed to on hold.

To me I think the school must send it with transcript.

I have faxed for my self twice and some persons and it was received in 24hrs n accepted..

Mine was recieved too since January 13 and up till now still reviewing
My spouse own Jan 15th and she already has a date when her Eca would be completed

How did u handle this ?

Please i have two questions:

1. I put my Bsc and Msc for evaluation but I need Msc for this Canada immigration and Bsc for a job stuff. Will WES send Msc if it's ready before my BSC or will they wait when both is completed?

Wes says your application name must be same with the name on your credentials to avoid delays. I am married and surname changed. How do inform WES cos my Wes account bears a different surname.

Can any one help thank you.
