The winners of this year Champions League could receive more than 80 million euros in prize money.

Teams will be financially rewarded for winning games and progressing through each round of the tournament by UEFA.

Breakdown of prize money for 2019/20 Champions League
1. Reaching the group stages: 15 million euros
2. Reaching the round of 16: 9.5 million euros
3. Reaching the quarter-finals: 10.5 million euros
4. Reaching the semi-finals: 12 million euros
5. Reaching the final: 15 million euros
6. Winning the final: 4 million euros

UEFA will also pay teams 2.7 million euros (N1,083,073,882.50) for every match they win and 900,000 euros (N361,089,697.50) for every match they draw.

So, if a team wins every single game on their way to lifting the Champions League trophy, they will earn 82.2 million euros.

Clubs will also receive money for their UEFA coefficient ranking and from TV rights, which vary depending on which country they're from.

1. Reaching the group stages: 15 million euros in Naira that is (N6,017,077,125.00)

2. Reaching the round of 16: 9.5 million euros in Naira that is (N3,810,626,628.75)

3. Reaching the quarter-finals: 10.5 million euros in Naira that is (N4,211,745,221.25)

4. Reaching the semi-finals: 12 million euros in Naira that is (N4,813,423,110.00)

5. Reaching the final: 15 million euros in Naira that is (N6,017,077,125.00)

6. Winning the final: 4 million euros in Naira that is (N1,604,553,900.00)
