guru’s in the house.

I recently got my study permit for Canada.
But I have to defer because it came days after my resumption deadline.

I’ll like to know if I will need to reapply for the study permit or I will just take an updated copy of my new admission letter with the deferred date.
No you won’t have to reapply for a study permit.
Take with you the new admission letter and present it at the POE , that should be okay as long as your visa is still valid up to and beyond the new date of your new admission. This does not mean you should travel to early because I hear that doesn’t really go well.

Chai!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...funniest question I have seen... pls defer, get the new admission letter, send to cic, den u can travel.. Wen u get to the port of entry.. you will get your new study permit and work permit, make sure you read those two permits very well to the last letter before you leave that office and ask questions (do not be shy o)... pls travel a month to your new resumption date o... if the new resumption date says September.. pls travel either July or August.. congratulations

You got those two because you failed to explain

1)what are your plans after studies in canada.. that alone shows u have a reason for going for the intended course and there's a realistic plan when you return home.. u prove that by explaining in detail with anything attached to support the claim as well.. you can also do an affidavit of return..

2) how did you do chemistry in your bsc and you are going for a diploma in practical nursing? Are both related.. diploma is below a BSC.. I will encourage you to go for a PGD or masters in a course related with Chemistry..

Hello Juddytee,

She can go for a PGD/C in any course related to Business Administrative like Human Resources Management, Global Resources Management etc. Fanshawe, Conestoga, Centennial, New Brunswick Community College etc.

All the best

Hello, good people, please I need your advice. I'm currently residing in South Korea where I did my master's programme, but I want to relocate to Canada to do another master's programme. When I got admission in South Korea, my eldest sister paid for my first-semester tuition fee, but I subsequently paid the remaining ones through hustling while studying. Now I have completed my studies but I don't intend coming back home now. I'm currently on a job-seeking visa, so I want to know if I can apply from here without any problem? My eldest sister wants to act as my sponsor again and she has a very good account with steady cash flow and I also have saved some money here. She is ready to transfer the money needed to my account here and also send her Nigerian statement of account, house document, payslip, proof of family relationship and other relevant documents over to me. So, I'm wondering if my application will be affected as a result of my continuous stay in Korea without returning home? I have also travelled to Japan and other countries while here. Please, what is my chance of getting the visa?
NB: I'm also married and my wife just visited me here but she will go back to Nigeria later.
Thanks

Hello Tobias,

I believe you are a big fan of OZ, based on your moniker.

There won't be any issue applying from SK if you have a valid residence permit or legal status. The most important thing you should justify is why going for a second Masters instead of a Ph.D. Also try as much to link your home ties to Nigeria since you have stronger ties to your home country than your current country of residence. Since you have a Master, you can as well give the EE a try

All the best

Thanks for your prompt response, I wanted a change of field and actually checked requirements for bsc Nursing; I need prior knowledge of physiology, Anatomy and Microbiology in most of the schools I checked. So I settled for practical nursing that doesn't require much.

I did affidavit of return.

Let's say I want to do pgd please can u suggest school that doesn't require IELT? Thanks again for your time.

Hi
Please I'm just curious. I applied for masters in memorial university around november . Sent in my transcript and certificate by email and my letters of appraisal from my referees. Later on I found out I have to actually send in my transcript and certificate through post mail or courier. I emailed them and got a reply that I have to send it for it to appear on my checklist as official. Around first week of January I had my university send the documents through post mail to memorial . From my tracking , the documents arrived Newfoundland , CA last 2 weeks and since then I have been checking my application status and no update yet , sent an email twice to memorial gradapply and no reply. Please is there something else I should do?

Hello GracefulG,

Send an email to dawnw@mun.ca with your enquiry or query, I believe you would get assistance. There is a general delay with MUN updating portals and responding to emails at this moment.

Hello Ray2019,

You don't need to reapply for a study permit, the new letter of admission will suffice.

Btw when did you apply and when was your application approved?

You need a course related to chemistry or like a branch of chemistry not offered in Nigeria... PGD/C is done by people which 2.2 and lower...

All schools in canada dont require IELTS as long as your transcript shows your course was taught in English. Conestoga, centennial, Algonquin, Manitoba, Humber etc. Google can show u more

This is not an approval letter or a denial letter. This is a biometrics validity letter stating how long your biometrics is valid..

Kindly defer your admission and wait for a final decision to be made on your application.

Hello Crystalheart,

As norm with the VOs, all they want to understand or see is either there is a career progression or self development in the choice program or course, which you weren't able to justify convincingly.

On the other note, it is always advisable to go for a program higher than the previous for easy connection with the VO based on study progression. Going for a Diploma after a B.sc isn't a good move except there is a justifiable reason.

You can choose to go on with the Diploma if you can justify your Diploma intention after a B.sc or you can apply for a PGD/C in any health related courses that can easily be connected to Chemistry. One advise, don't be in haste to reapply and endeavour to address the VO's concerns adequately.

All the best.

The best and fastest approach to avoid been ban, is to quickly file a new corrected IMM1294E form, raise a CSE to Kenya immigration office, and briefly explain in the body of the mail that the previous form was wrongly filled and thus humbly requesting that the updated form should be appended with your processing application. On the other hand, you may request for your application be withdrawn. Either ways would work.
. Please how do I go about this. Please. I just did my biometric today and I’m not sure I can withdraw the application

Send a mail to cic London, lagos and Kenyan offices.. also send a Webform.. in both scenarios, explain vividly yours reasons behind your decision to withdraw the application.. but don't say it out rightly, just state there were errors and wish to withdraw to correct the errors in the form.. do that before they take a decision in your application.. You can withdraw as long as a decision has not been taken on your application.

CSE is a way of saying WEBFORM... type webform on Google, it will direct u to cic portal and follow the instructions.. that's where u choose the office you wish to send the mail to, choose Kenya.. the mail will get to Kenya, if your application isn't in Kenya, they(visa office kenya) will send it to the right office handling your application
