Popular EndSars convener and Human rights activists, Segun Awosanya also known as Segalink has told the public that it is illegal (according to the laws in Nigeria) for a police officer to request for a phone search from Nigerians.

Segun Awosanya is known for always helping youths unlawfully arrested and detained by the police out.

If the police is not supposed to take your phone away without arresting you then it is robbery.so all you have to do is get a lawyer,report a case of robbery by men wearing police uniform,file a copy at the judiciary then trace the GPS on your phone when its put on.they will definitely be purnished legally.
