Anon123: So why do people use paper when they can use online and retain their passport? Are there any benefits of using Paper? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 9:25am On Jan 21, 2020 |
Crystalheart: The course is better.. you can Google the course and it will link you to universities that offer them.. try memorial University of newfoundland, university of Regina etc.. Google can solve that for u. Yes they go through your last application to compare the difference or change made between the first and the new application but it will not affect your new application... 1 Like |

I intend applying to Canada for 2year course After/second degree program to Nursing. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 9:46am On Jan 21, 2020 |
Kess2020: Nobody here can tell you your chances.. Wen you apply, how you sell yourself of being a genuine student going to study for a reason with a realistic plan after studies, that is what tells what your chances are.. For a course, I advise you go for a PGD/C in a course related to your bsc not done in Nigeria therefore cancel nursing if it's not related to your bsc Google can handle the possible colleges you can apply to.. |

Anon123: Sir, the answer to your questions is finances. M.Sc is more expensive in Canada. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 10:31am On Jan 21, 2020 |
Raalsalghul: Hahahahahaha.. Boss, Wetin concern finance with admission requirements for masters and PGD/C?.. you are saying something else my man .. all am saying is, with a 2.2 it's difficult to impossible to get admitted for a masters program in either an expensive and a cheap university in Canada. It's has nothing to do with finance 1 Like |

Anon123: Boss, as expert wey you be, you know say M.Sc dey more expensive pass PGC. Maybe the Op dey look him pocket na. I'm somewhat in the same shoes, my result qualifies for a Masters, but thinking of going for a PGC in line with my work experience. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 10:42am On Jan 21, 2020 |
Raalsalghul: Well.. I no be expert boss.. am a learner like you.. well. In the reply I gave, the person I replied didn't state his/her grade.. fine.. and I gave that reply.. like I always say.. for newbies, admission in any course isn't the problem.. it's wen u get to apply for visa, u will see there's a need for u to have gone for a course related to your bsc or there was need for u to have done this and not that. It's not easy shaa I also told someone here that he/she can go for a PGD with a 2.1 but u have to explain why u are going for a college wen your bsc is good enough to be admitted for a masters.. which means more work for u to defend your decision.. Yes for the bolded, money in the pocket matas alot but the visa officer no dy look that one.. that's why I said the main huddle is in the visa application stage.. 1 Like |

Anon123: You are doing a fantastic job here and your answers to questions asked has been spot on, God bless you. To the bolded, it is not always the case. I had a 4.4 CGPA and I attended college in Canada. I also have many Nigerian friends with 2.1 that finished in Canadian colleges. A 2.1 can choose college for so many reasons. Although it is always advised on here that if you have 2.1, masters should be your first option, this does not mean if you opt for college, your visa will be denied. The major thing for a visa officer is career progression. On the completion of your UG, once you are going for postgraduate studies, whether college or University, and can prove you are a genuine student with good LOE, financial statement and so forth, you will get your visa. 3 Likes |

Please guys i need your help. i applied for Canadian study permit since 25th November and my biometric was updated on 26th of november. This is my second application. My first application was a paper application and was denied then i have to respond to their complaints on my second application. Now my the challenge is that, the class have started since on 17th of January and i couldnt travel because my application is still on process. on 15th of January i received a mail from Canadian immigration saying "we're still working on your application. Again the school (Conestoga College) have revoke my admission with the option to request for refund. right now i dont know either to request for refund and reapply or to apply to another college. what happens to my study permit application? The acceptace letter i used for my application, the class started on 17th January. wont applying for another offer contradict the information i gave in my study permit application? Please the GURUS in the house help me!!!!!!!!!! |

CHRISPLACE:This is a dicy situation... and I will only tell you what I feel can be done byt still open to the house to add further.. This is my 2kobo I would say, u should have requested for a deferment 2weeks to the resumption date seeing that your application is still in the pipeline..thats why the school seeing you are not requesting for a deferment, decided to terminate the admission therefore giving you the option of a refund.. well it has happened.. I feel you should either send a mail to the school and plead with them to defer your admission in that same course ,attach a letter showing that your visa application is still in progress or attach the last response you got from cic which is why you didn't reach out cos I feel it's faster to get a new admission letter than applying to another school which by now has closed their admissions portal(wild guess though). 5 Likes |

chybabie: chybabie: chybabie: chybabie: I don't know if your concerns have been addressed.. Though I'll respond to it for the sake of future applicants. As per the first question, your hubby doesn't require to sign the consent form since you didn't indicate in the refused application that he is accompanying you to Canada. Q2-) The details seen on the attachment bears the information of the third party website which will order the GCMS notes on your behalf. It was automatically generated immediately you had completed the payment. Don't bother about this, that's how it's meant to be. Q3-) No you don't need to include the details of your spouse and kids in the consent since there aren't accompanying you to Canada. I hope this helps. It will end in praises. agboolaahmed: Hello Agboolaahmed, You can always withdraw your application, especially at its initial stage. Don't bother trying to rectify it via email. It will be better to withdraw the application and reapply before you are notified for representation. I am advising you based on experience from a similar cases, though yours might be different. To do this raised a webform and as well send through email a detailed body message stating your intention to withdraw then include your full name as shown on your PP, DoB, application number, CoR. You can give reason for withdrawal as due to error in your filed application and that you don't want your application to be processed with such error in it. I believe you been advised accordingly by others here too.
