Dear Esteemed Brokers, It has been brought to our attention that Investor CSCS Account Balances reflected on the trading engine does not capture trades executed yesterday, 14th January, 2020. Brokers are advised to trade with caution to avoid incidence of overtrading; volumes traded yesterday should be considered in arriving at positions for today. Where unsure, please reach out to the CSCS. Kindly note that the CSCS is working on speedy resolution of this issue. All inconveniences are regretted.

I just saw this now, NSE indeed put this information out to the investing public.

I never witnessed this with other stock brokers I have been using. I bought a stock using morgancapitalgroup, the other was filled and I got debited from my account after everything. It surprises that the stock I bought vanished after the whole process, only for them to leave meagre units for me.They refuded me back my money, but the money they refunded is not complete. I feel cheated and deceived by morgancapital. I have tried to contact them, but they refused to honour my emails. This is very bad of them to be ripping off people in a coded way.

You have said it time and time again. No point repeating yourself, otherwise, you would become a bore. Once you took your decision, just observe and stop talking. I so much respect your strategic ideology, which doesn't come cheap.

I also sold since early last week when it became crucial for me to enjoy the victory of having my gains in my pocket instead of leaving it in the tempest of rascally waves and started looking out for another opportunity. A vulture is a patient bird.

On point....
No need for d repetition....

More reason, why I trade with momentums on NSE. Even the anticipated N2.50 dividends Zenith would be paying for FY2019, I have already taken my own from the market this year. Sub-optimal in this market to wait for the declaration date. Hoping to repeat the cycle at least twice before the declaration date... That's my style re. Zenith. And I stick to it, at least the last 5 years now...

Good approach, you cant get it wrong.

Market still technically bullish, but choppy... Expect this choppiness to continue end of Q1. A Marlian investing strategy needed to optimise profit in this volatile market as usual - High Volume/High Frequency Trading (Japa Style aka Momentum Trading!). No need holding on for long stories, just make 10% net on high volume and exit and repeat the cycle.

BTW, Good Morning House! My first post! My utmost regards to my Ogas in the house. Wishing you all a very profitable 2020!

Dear Marlianvestor, can you please explain this 'cycle repeating' style in more details. If it is not too much trouble, please use real time figures from any company to illustrate so that those of us interested in momentum trading can understand the concept and apply it. Thanks in advance

Buffet doesn't apply here in a scenario of herds mentality. Try to long a good fundamental stock here for long term and see whether you will not end your journey back in the bus stop, like travelling on the earth on a perceived straight line. Here is a place where every stock is bullish during bullish season. I made the most profit in my portfolio from an illiquid stock that made 1% in it's last financial statement!

Oga well done

Abeg tell them.

I still have a bank yet to be sold completely. And they say I am not in the market. grin

You sell in tranches.

I will still leave that one together with other afolabi units in other banks and collect small dividends on them.

When it is time to hold cash, my brother, heed the call o. You lose nothing.

Someone complained that his FCMB gains had vanished. grin grin

Even OGG sef held cash. At least he told guys that he sold part of his Access. Whereas some people will sell and no one will know. Who is fooling who?

Oga Rabidoracle. ....we don hear , a beg leave us

Some of us sold to enter Alhaji cement

If everyone sell now, who u go buy from in NSE?

They will still do more in the next 60 days plus!

EXACTLY.

For the NEWBIES that don't know how this stuffs works.close your ears to war mongers and monitor your portfolio meticulously from November till April those 6months are the PEAK PERIOD.

EXIT the market in the month of MAY for the so called LONG TERMERS and enjoy your LOOTS in peace.

Even during the dreaded stock GLOBAL MELTDOWN in 2008.I was in Singapore the ASI peaked in March at 66000bpt before it started declining in the month of APRIL after released of 2007 F/Y and 2008 Q1 results by SEPTEMBER it become GLARING there was serious fire on the mountain..

Due to this strategy some of us weren't affected much by the 2008 stock meltdown though I later paid heavy dues with BankPHB in 2011 and OANDO in 2014.

That's why we always preach SELL in MAY and GO AWAY then come back in NOVEMBER to repeat the circle again and again

What about the likes of wapco and other promising stocks? You suggest they should be sold in May too? Or this information only applies to banking stock. Greenhorn trying to learn
