Thank you Ma'am, my doctor said the same thing. It only added 2kg from week1 to week 22, I noticed that I added additional(3kg) within two weeks(week 22-24).

My doctor said my fibroids are also growing with the baby including the fluids and weight of the baby which can contribute to my weight. She said when someone is close to third trimester or you're in the last trimester that weight gains is always higher than expected. I will still try and watch what I eat sha.........

I've a friend that always vomiting throughout her pregnancy and she can't even eat well throughout the 9momth but to my greatest surprise she always add weight during pregnancy and her baby always weighing above 4kg after delivery.

We will all deliver safely. Amen!

I mean sometimes you can’t help how much weight you put on during pregnancy. Sometimes the weight comes from excess fluids, extra fat storage for the baby Etc. Sometimes if you don’t eat you experience nausea. I do think one should try and eat as healthy as possible but stressing too much about weight during pregnancy or dieting during pregnancy can make one depressed or too anxious and it’s not even advisable. I’ve had friends that have added 22kg, one even added 30kg+, they lost it all after childbirth. So please just do your best and leave the rest. You can start thinking about weight loss once the child is here.

So so on point. Me I eat o. Its like some people dont understand how pregnancy hunger feels. I dunno about others o. But sometimes I feel like I want to die until I eat something solid before I can feel normal again. It's the same way it happened with my first baby. I remember always going to one restaurant early in the morning to request for pounded yam.
After everything I ate the baby still came out 2.8.
Did I add weight? Yes i did.
But you know what few months later I skipped the hell of out of the weight. I became so so slim.

So speaking of weight gain in pregnancy am not bothered at all. But I will not make my self uncomfortable and be suffering hunger because I don't want to be fat. I cant even help it. I must to eat .
I know how to shed all the weight after delivery.

Same with me shortly after my wedding, PCOS and ovarian cyst. I'm on the slim side so the weight thing was not an issue for me, I ate more of fruits, exercised and met a doctor who said I'd be infused with some drips/antibiotics for 3 days for the next 3months. I did the first round and felt a lot better, I went for the second round not knowing I was already pregnant. That weekend, I did a PT at home and saw positive after buying so many PT strips that turned out negative in the past(My story is on the TTC thread). I didn't bother going for the 3rd/last round & I'm pregnant for my second just 9months after my first, without even trying for it. It's not the end of the world, calm down, I know you'd testify soon. #EHugs

Ma'am, try and approach your hospital for hospital list. For instance, I am using two different hospitals and they gave me two different things on the list even though some are the same.

Meanwhile, you can check the list shared by me yesterday, hospital requirements(List) is included in the list.

Pls i dobt understand this hispital list,is it what you give to the hospital or what you go to the hospital with because my first,i went only with baby's cloth and sanitary.

That is the spirit, Nobody will tell me to starve myself so that baby no go too big...Abeg I no fit shout Pikin wey won big go big and i believe gene sometimes plays a big role in baby weight

Exactly, like my first was tiny cos I starved myself but his cheeks were faaaat. Now he's so big, people say he's sucking me dry and enriching his own body, but he took after his dad sha.
