If una get spare time I go like make una help me frustrate one girl.

After taking my time with 3 stops around chevron drive, ride ended at 800, she gave me 500 and wanted to transfer 300, I said that’s ridiculous, make she Kuku do 800. I gave her 500 and called out account no.

She said done and rushed out. I wasn’t expecting alert as Access bank can be dull with that. I logged in to my account few minutes later and saw 600 instead of 800.

In as much as the money is insignificant, I don’t like people playing a smart one on me.

I have tried calling her severally but I figured she’s blocked my line.

The liquid moly also has one of 5w20. I took the wrong picture. What I am concerned about is the brand.

I know the money is small. Send her your details and confirm you've received it so she won't do worse to another person. After all, the reason we've been calling is for you to receive your money not that we dont have something doing with our time. okay?

IFSHR:
Good morning my people.

I am in a little delima and will appreciate some advice. I am conversant on this thread but not with this current profile. I had to use a different profile.

I was out of job since last year march (I resigned due to harsh working condition and the place becoming toxic), so to keep body and soul together and my little family, I opted to drive for Uber/taxify, I did the registration and training but had no car forthcoming after several tries.

I posted here about wanting a car for hire purchase and I got one from someone on this thread by October (reason for me using a new profile, though I don't know the person's profile but since she picked my number from here, I guess she must be following this thread) but on the agreement that I make a down payment which I paid and I have never failed any of my remittance, so currently I have like 15 month to pay and be the owner of the car.

I stopped applying for job just to face the hustle as I had plans to start up my own little professional business, but there was this job I applied for before I got my last job, I had already meet with the CEO of the company but I didn't get a call back from them, so I just blanked it.

But I got a call from the CEO himself last week asking if am still available which I responded in the affirmative and to cut the long story I got a juicy offer and it came with an official car.

I am yet to explain anything to the madam that gave me the car on hirepurchase, I believe I must be honest with her because the contract is her own hustle as well, but I may not be able to meet up paying her weekly but I can still pay her monthly but that will be from my monthly salary (this is an option my wife frown at, her reason being that 10month of such money can get me that same car, why pay it for 15month)

The second option is to give out the car to someone else while the person remit to me and I remit to the woman (but the clause is that when I signed the contract, one of the term is I must not sub contract the car to another person, as the wan has right to get back the car if she discover such). To correct that I am thinking of meeting the woman and explain things to her ,so I can sub-contract the car, but you know Some Nigerians can be funny she may agree now just to come back later and trigger the aforementioned term.

My people I will welcome any advice...thanks and God bless

let's even forget about the oga-madam for a moment and talk about your takings...shey you know that if you subcontract that car your own margin would go to zero unless you allow the third-party driver eat everything he makes.

And he has to be someone completely loyal to you, someone who would not go and tell the woman the real story....

Cheap fares can be a competition strategy and also to make it widely accepted/used.
Now may be the time to focus on quantity rather than margins. Later when the riders are more than the drivers, fares can go up.

You assertion is not totally correct. Bolt n Uber run a concession kind of service I.e they get a cut from every ride they link up.

They don't care how many drivers share whatever is left on the table . as long as their remittances are secured they are good.

Take a scenario.

There are 5000 drivers on platform A. They pull in #10,000,000.
Platform takes #2,000,000.

Let's assume drivers share equally ( this is not often the case as some drivers will earn more than d other but for d sake of illustration.

Each driver takes #1,600 home.

There are 8000 drivers now. They pull in #14,000,000.
Platform takes #2,800,000.
Each driver takes #1,400 home.

In reality, there was an increased revenue. But there was no trickle down effect to d individual drivers.

But here is d catch, the e companies are not drastically affected in terms of earnings simply because, they take a cut of whatever comes into the pool.

All they need to increase their REVENUE pool is to bring in more drivers.

The kind of earnings drivers made in 2015 is not what is reflecting in 2019.

Yes, you could argue that there are still some top earners, but those ( drivers) are outliers, they do not represent the drivers in the mainstream.

Take it from me, the fares will not go up. Not in the immediate future.
