And if that question "where have you all travelled to together?" does not pop up during the interview, his chances may even become slimmer. If it comes to him as an individual in form of "where have you travelled to before?", he better be quick to let them know it was a family trip.

I agree! They should just be well prepared! The first person to get the ‘Where have you travelled to before?’ Should include that they’ve ALL travelled together before and others should take note and not re-answer the question (if another person gets the question) in a way that makes it sound ‘pushy’

But the best way to find out is for them to apply! It’s a guess game on here! Only the VO can decide who they let in!

Visa restriction is being considered.

The only loophole is how come he's got time to go on holiday from a job he just started.

The employer should:
1. to hire a lawyer and to pay for the whole job visa application including the evidence the applicant has unique skills and education and no American can fit this position. It's expensive.
2. to ask DOL certification and confirmation about the position and salary. It can't be a very small salary, it should be a competitive American salary and it's not a cheap labor for the American Company.
3. to present this job visa application during an open window period, usually it is once a year and the opening fills so fast (1 month or less), it's a lottery, there are too many applicants and only a certain amount is accepted. If this applicant is not lucky to get into this group, he needs to wait for the next year window time and the Company needs to apply and pay again.

Then if he/she is lucky, he/she goes to the embassy interview with all approved paperwork from the Employer and ...
4. if he/she is lucky, the embassy gives him/her visa, or they may deny.
