U don't need 2years kan kan! One u have your license, intern or not, u can proceed.
You might need post grad experience if u want to sign up with agencies. But self sponsored candidates do not need any experience.
This country is useless, don't waste ur time doing internship or nysc when u could just go on with your processing.

Thank you

You need 2years post registration experience as part of ur eligibility. You barely have up to a year's experience so i doubt your eligibility status. Account with CGFN closes after one year so you don't want to waste your money starting the process when all the required documents ain't readily available for evaluation.

Thank you.

Good afternoon ALL, Pls, I would really like to hear from person's with similar experience. I started the CGFNS process early 2018 and submitted all the documents required, along the line they contacted me to provide a scratch card in order to verify my NECO result , but I didn't respond to the e-mail on time due to child birth and all that After a while they wrote me to say that processing times for my application has elapsed.

I recently sent them an email to enquire they way forward on how to proceed with my application, but the response I got from them is slightly unclear. The only thing I can figure out from the e-mail is payment of $160

Now, my question is after paying $160, do I have to send all the documents I sent previously, for instance transcripts, degree result and NMC pin or just only the NECO scratch card since they have not issued me with any evaluation report so far ??

I will be very glad to hear from seniors with similar experience before I make payment

That's the same issue that's getting me confused too, i know CGFNS is an online application and after the application your nursing school sent your transcript while NMC sent your verification.

Now my question is, is there an option to send the required documents YOURSELF by courier after the online application?

Can someone please walk me through this?

I am going to answer you from my experience, I found myself in similar situation, however mine was about filling transcript from my school properly. This lingered for a year, by the time it was resolved, my cgfns subscription has almost expired, they said I should pay $160, I paid. Now since they have received the school transcript which doesn't expire, they said the verification of lincence I sent has expired.....I rushed to Nigeria Nursing council, on getting there, they said they changed policy that morning that N53,500 is what is needed to verify licence....I managed to get the money and pay. I am encouraging people not be discouraged.

So if you pay, they will tell you documents to send,,/ resend....especially documents that has time line ....your first step is to pay as soon as possible , don't bother opening new account. Continue with the current account and communicate with CGFNS constantly through message

The only document you are permitted to send is WAEC OR NECO....theirs nothing to confused about here. Your WAEC or NECO can be sent online or courier by you.

OK thanks.
I have a friend who will complete her RN program next year. Now she's planning what next after the program. She's divided between going for BSN or working.
She doesn't want to work or study in Nigeria. I'd like to know how studying nursing abroad works and the process. She's really concerned about the number of years it will take. About working, I'd like to know how that works too including the best countries to go and process involved.

Thank you for this. Please at what point do i pay the NMCN verification fee of 53,500? I have paid d $140 for NMCUK and i got a mail asking me to wait till they verify.

log on to the NMC website to open an account then complete the self assessment of eligibility before applying. This costs £140.
NOTE: UK NMC has 4 registration fields which are; Adult nursing, mental health nursing, learning disability nursing and children nursing. As a single qualified nurse in Nigeria, your application should come under Adult Nursing.
http://www.nmc.org.uk.
once you pass the self assessment of eligibility, you can go ahead and schedule your CBT.

theres a CBT test centre in lagos

She can complete her BSN in about 2years(on campus), online(3-6months) but then completion time varies with school.
she can find out about the schools by searching them schools online. On the other hand,
if she chooses to work abroad as a registered nurse, then how to migrate to the U.S and UK is all up from the beginning of this post. take ur time and read it through. note- she'll need to graduate first, Cos her license and registration will be needed.

Please I need help on this.
I have a BSN , graduated last year in turkey but no licence or work experience yet . I've been trying to apply for master's or graduate degree in nursing in the US so as to write NCLEX but some of the programs require license or some work experience . I haven't found one that is a good fit for me. Please can I get suggestion on what particular program I can apply for in order to write my NCLEX in the US. Or should just go with a different health science course then write the NCLEX whilst studying.

You can not write Nclex without having a license..
As a foreign graduate nurse, you will need to do your credential evaluation with cgfns and they will surely need your license to do that.

You can only write NCLEX without license if you studied in usa

Good morning nurses, I'm almost rounding up with my RN program at School Of Nursing, UBTH, after which I intend going to UK to do my 1yr Top-up BscN program.
So here's my question. I hope I won't have issues relocating to Canada to work using the Express Entry or PNP route. I don't know how true it is that Canada don't accept UK 1yr top up BscN degree....
Thanks
which school u intend going please

The medical test required is Tb test and you get your result same day. However, you might have to book days before to get it done.
