fkj950ax:Thank you. There's a possibility of me getting a job though. The H - 1B visa is my main concern. Graduated 2018 and have 2+ years experience in my field. Have been to the US once, in 2012 on a 2yrs visa. Regardless, this is different from a H-1B visa and I have no prior knowledge of what it takes. Thanks alot. |

I have sponsorship and direct citizen connect in the US. Concerning Canada, sponsorship isn't sure yet. ... But sir, considering the above, do I have a shot for the canadian work programme? Comparing to going for MSc in Canada, which is cheaper to fund and process? - The MSc or Work process |

The best bet is to have a Letter of Explanation addressing these issues. Once it comes up at the interview, you can present the Letter. Best of Luck. lekkistar: |

lekkistar: Don't forget to fill the refusal in your 160 form. It might not come up if you were not finger printed. |

lekkistar: I hope there was a newspaper publication of the name change when it was done. The date of the publication and the affidavit should be the same period as the name change. Gives the affidavit extremely high credibility In your DS160, remember to fill in any other name or previous name field. |

Whitemagic:H-1B you can get if your American Company is willing to pay for the process and if you you are selected. Job visas application for 2021 strarts in March from March 1st to 20. It's the American Company application, they need the lawyer to do it, sometimes the HR employee does it. And the need to be registered online and do all the process electronically. It's not easy but a good lawyer usually does it. If your American Company is willing to pay for your H-1B visa, it's cheaper for you than Canada, sometimes American Companies pay for your flight and help you with accommodation at arriving too, you practically pay some medical and police background check in your country, it's almost nothing. American salaries are also better than in Canada but in Canada it's more easy later to get the Residency. If you have a good American Company, try with them, if you get H-1B Visa, it's usually 5 years, even some extend to 6, then working you will see how to get a Residency in US or in the worse case, you can get a job in Canada after having US experience. 1 Like |

saintobi009:Taking myself as an example. I live in an EU country as a permanent resident with an indeterminate job contract also. At my visa Interview I was asked what type of residence permit I had , if I had a job and how long the contract is. Was also asked what I went to do in the different countries I had visited based on the travel history I entered in my Ds160 form. At the end I was issued the visa. |

. As per applying yes you can apply for a visa. But the question you need to ask yourself are, What strong ties do you have in South Africa that will guarantee that you will comeback after your trip? Do you earn enough monthly to be able to embark on this trip? What's your intent on visiting the USA. |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Nobody: 4:21pm On Jan 25, 2020 |
Yes I earn enough to embark on the trip , I earn about 30,000 monthly thats 750k Naira and I am only going to visit for a week , I have been to dubia 4 times, Italy, Lebanon , Rwanda ,Ghana and Kenya , I will also be going to Mauritius next week . mrprolifik: |

seyewest: My brother, things dey happen in the U.S. pertaining to this childbirth business oh! Take this scenario for example. A woman is rushed into the ER already in labor, no prenatal history whatsoever. The hospital is duty bound to deliver the baby then ask questions later . Good luck to them collecting a penny later . In reality, a baby does not need to be delivered in a hospital for citizenship rights to be established. A midwife can deliver the baby at home and file a certificate of live birth certified by other witnesses. In some cities close to the border, immigrants illegally cross the border and deliver their babies at home. They call and a first responder shows up, witnesses the birth and certifies the live birth. The woman then goes back across the border and continues her daily life with her U.S. citizen child who will come back later in life to enjoy the benefits of being a citizen. Nigerians still dey apprenticeship when it comes to anchor baby business! 9 Likes 1 Share |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by OmoBendel24: 7:25pm On Jan 25, 2020 |
Mancala: Yeah, I understand all these. That Nigeria celebrities will enter plane to the US for childbirth purpose and not pay is what doesn't sit right. When you can at the least (before recent developments) hustle for a less than 3-5k package to birth with, and make Twood and his "gang" go gaga . There are very grave consequences known to a lot of people birthing in the US if you dare not pay. Is it not celebrities that want to go back to the US with same kids and be "brandishing" them? Where does that hope lie then when the rule of thumb is that "if you don't pay, and you step out of the US, kiss ever visiting there again goodbye"? That punishment alone is constraining enough to "frustrate" you to look for how to make payment, a celebrity - the Nigeria brand particularly - will not be careless with that methinks, visiting the US subsequently is as good as life and the air they breathe to them na . 1 Like |
