I experienced same. When I got married, their perception changed then I faced my wife's wahala. Once I step out, na to dey monitor me with calls upandan. Since the advent of what I can call video call, na WhatsApp video call my wife dey take communicate, even when outside the country. She would just say, your kids want to say hello but na lie . Anytime I missed her call, i go get query that day lol. But I understand perfectly
