Please who is Dr. Umar Faruk. Is it the one that is the emir of daura or the other faruk who is the non executive director of GTL registrars?

He is an important investor in the Nigerian stock market. He has a PhD in Education, he is based in Kano.

Sometimes, because southerners have access to the internet and are more vocal, we tend to underestimate these Northerners. Like up to 3 investments mentioned in this thread that have had them mentioned n the last few pages. While we tend to focus on just Dangote, it would seem that they seem to have many other very silent billionaires doing things while we just de speak big grammar for this side.

The educated ones are very good. They are quite humble.
I don't know whether he is acting or that is his truly behaviour Dangote appears shy and humble.
He was quite uncomfortable when shareholders were hailing and applauding the achievements of Dangote Cement in Africa during the last Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the company on Wednesday

How do you get the dollars into the Dom açcount in the first place without changing it at the black market?

It's not easy to top up , you are losing money with all that merry go round if you really think about it.

Charges , black market rate etc.

That's the problem. By the time you buy at black market rates plus all the charges for doing the transfer, the profit no go too make sense. Was doing some enquiries myself but got discouraged. .

The best way ,wait for a day when dollar exchange rates are really good, buy a lot , like Ur maximum amount , load your Dom açcount preferably stanbic and then transfer to d eurobond.

This is only workable for someone in naija.

34,350naira for 91 days or 11k a month. undecided
Unless of course you meant dollars grin grin grin
Treasury Bills is usually for people with accumulated liquid volume, beginners were meant to be in the active workforce in Nigeria creating value all over the place, hence the low yield.
In other words, hustle ooo grin grin grin

How true is this.. Just saw it on Twitter.. Could be the major reason TB rate has fallen drastically
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by RealityShot: 8:43pm On Jan 24, 2020
I just decided to stick to treasury bills.
It fits my purpose despite the rate at the moment.

I need Zero Access to my funds.
Plus I like the upfront payment.

Enough distractions already. (am wasting my time looking for new investments, the difference ain't worth all the stress and distraction)

Thank you PA Emmanuelewumi and others for all your help.

Yes it does. There's 2 plots on my street presently no one has seen its buyer for 15 years. I know roughly over 20 duplexes in Cream estates in ajah whose owners haven't been seen for 15 years now and have been overtaken by abokis. Property ownership is good but location and the kind of property is cream. Too bad I don't see it as a good investment to advice anyone to go into. From the second year tenants struggle to meet up rental fees. And getting new tenants can take a decade. Nothing like Fast moving consumer friendly businesses to me.
You mean the owners forgot the location of their duplexes??

Please how do you check this rate? Thanks.

By dividing the interest earned in one day (x) by the principal amount (y) multiple by 100 and multiply by 366 (leap year). X/y x100x366
