Afonja and noise, why not take a picture of the rusting armored tank and show us? If you ever picked up a book about the war and read( besides regurgitating the same rubbish war tales you heard from idiots who didn't even participate in the fighting), you would have known that Biafran soldiers successfully captured Ore, Okitipupa, and were just few miles from crossing the ofosu Bridge which was later blown up by the retreating Federal troops... thus delaying the Biafran advance beyond Ondo axis. But most significantly, Victor Banjo was the main reason the Biafran advance lost momentum, Ojukwu's biggest mistake in that war was giving command of a very important operation in the Midwest to a yoruba man to capture Lagos... that's like giving command of a legion of demons to the Devil to destroy hell fire - plain daft and Illogical expectations, maybe Ojukwu trusted Banjo too much, but surely he should have known better... Victor Banjo ordered a complete halt of all Biafran units in Ore, and by then the momentum of speed and surprise which the Biafrans used to their advantage was now totally lost, it wasn't long after that the Biafrans began to retreat from Ore back to Benin and consequently across the Midwest back to the East after they had lost the will to keep pushing and fight.

So the Biafran failures in Ore wasn't down to some military genius by the cowardly yoruba/Nigerian soldiers who actually lost Ore and fled, it was simply a classic case of treason within the Biafran high command in the Midwest, willfully masterminded by a Yoruba officer with collaboration from some anti-Ojukwu enthusiasts like Sam Alale and Ifeajuna in sabotaging the whole operation in the Midwest and Western region. And that was why Ojukwu had Victor Banjo and his collaborators summarily executed for their treachery.
