After they expanded their occupation in demand in September 2019 with plenty people in the pool now? I doubt 60 can fetch ITA.. even people on 65 points are worried..

but then, impossible is nothing.

Hello All. I'm yet to enter the pool because I'm a bit worried about my work experience. I plan to use a combination of 3 NOCs. My NYSC, a nine-month stint and my current place of work where I've been working for the last 15 months. Actually, I work in a financial institution contact centre and I lead a team of 6 people. My JD consists of most of the duties of a Customer Service Supervisor NOC (6314) so I plan to use it as my primary NOC but my challenge is if the visa officer will raise an eyebrow at my application because I'm claiming a supervisory role with just 15 months experience. (no prior experience in this field). I need advice urgently as I've been worried sick about this for months. Help! @topsmamen @stencil @ladymarshall

Please I'm a novice here, I don't know where to start.

Planning to marry this year by God's grace, Got HND, finished serving early last year, have been into businesses while in school, Bitcoin/crypto trading, blogging, etc, also have shops, no working experience actually, people work for me. I have about 2.8 million for this Canada processing, what are my chances where do I begin? please any candid advice will be really appreciated.

As our rulers are making this country unlivable, I feel i need to raise my family in Canada. would like to go first, this place is limiting my potential because govt won't support your business, instead, they do everything possible to frustrate you.
You might want to test the immigration tool however, once you get a score better that won't guaranteed the exact score when you signed up fully. If you have secure a decent job in Canada that should improve your chances and probably less worries about proof of funds, also with a decent job secured, your 2.8M could assist. I think that Bitcoin/cryptocurrency or the likes should be converted into real money, I don't think those monetary options are taken by Canada. Lol #_As our rulers are making this country unlivable,_ I wouldn't take that line, if you want to immigrate you can, there are many people living okay in Nigeria.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. You must have been assigned those duties based on your skill set and prior experience. There's no golden rule that says these must be in the same field as the current one. As long you can provide a reference letter, as required by IRCC, you're good to go.

You can use hellofax to send your certificate by yourself and the school can send your transcript. I think the school sending our transcript is the koko.

Shalom.

This is just like a case of OND graduates doing jamb instead of direct entry. Its a game of numbers. The federal has over 86k slots per year. Pnp has 67k both oid and ee based. How many people can meet the requirements of pnp. For many you need job offer for some its random selection.
Manitoba- must have relatives there. Sinp- Education must match , your noc must be in demand and also score 69 points or more. How many can meet it For AIpP where do you wanna get job offer . Some people with ppr never see job why should an employer overlook them and come for you in faraway nigeria that maybe use 1 year to get the PR. If you check nairaland you won't find more than 3 people who have been able to crack aipp.
no SINP 60 point

Oh if that is the case just leave it in FX. If it’s possible to fix that amount please go ahead and do that. You should be ok.

Hello house,

I could not fix my POF as advised previously by @Eraytee. However, I’m planning to explain that the funds which have been in my account for about 3 months now, was paid to me to support my studies and I plan to use part of it towards my PR application. Is this explanation good enough?

My brother spoke to someone in unilag about his and he was told that unilag or those in record dont bother to search for the email sent by Wes instead they wait for the hardcopy to arrive then they reply the verification request. Except you know someone that can fast track it for you. After sending verification,Wes requested for another verification and my brother called unilag. He was told that he's not the only one having such issue and they dont know why WES is asking for second verification. My brother called WES and was told that there's a particular person or connect they have in unilag that must reply the verification mail, that they dont accept it from any other person.
My brother called unilag and told them what WES said So unilag said they would do a meeting today and tell WES * whatever they want tell WES sha* however, they intend to reply all the verification mail from WES from Monday.

I hope this helps but please still go to unilag for more update or someone to help.

Thank you so much. I guess I have to get to the school and also build a contact that can assist to fast track

Thanks a lot for your response but does it matter if I was hired as a Customer Service rep which is a NOC C. My supervisory role is actually a progression, based on my capability.

Unfortunately, I cant really say which one is more suitable. I used WES. There is another evaluation body called IQAS but I don't know if they are any better than WES. Unilag took more than 2 months to send my transcript. I sent them several mails, no meaningful progress. It was until I went there a couple of times to follow up on the matter before it finally got sent. My advise will be for you to start going there to hasten the process or see if you can get someone there to assist.
I used WES for my wife too but in her own case, her school, LASU, was very prompt. They attended to both transcript and verification requests quickly. In less than 2 weeks after each request, WES had confirmed receipt. I was quite impressed.

Wendyok:
Woooow...I don't know what to do...just started the Wes process...now I am waiting for unilag to send my transcript to Wes....
With all these now...I wouldn't have used Wes....what did your wife use please....
I am not happy with unilag slow responses..please advice on the evaluation body that suits unilag....

You are not alone in this. The mail I got from WES was on the 17th of November last year. I have gotten in touch with Unilag twice this year. They said they are yet to receive both e-mail and post. The person I spoke to said that I am not the only one with the same issue. He also claimed WES usually lie about sending the request. Wondering why they will do that if true.
I called WES customer service last weeke and the person said it has been sent and it will be sent again.I complained to them via their Contact Us. They said my inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department for review. I don't even know what else to do other than to wait and hope it gets sent soon.

olasworld:
Good people in the house please I need your advice. I received a mail from WES on 29th Nov 2019 that a verification mail was sent to Unilag. Till now, the school is yet to respond and when I visited the school, i was told that the mail has not been received.
I contacted WES and it was confirmed again that the verification mail was sent last year.
Please should I do? Although I was told another mail will be sent after 7weeks but what is the guaranty that the school will get it again.

If WES said they have sent it, then they have. You need to contact Unilag by visiting them. Go to Registrar’s office to confirm then follow up with records. I did that and found out that my verification was on someone’s desk since October with a pile of other verifications too. I made sure he acted and mine & moved it to the next person, that one was another battle again. I think they just responded to WES last week.

Landing Gist!
Lagos-Cassabalanca- Montreal - Ottawa 18-01-2019

We decided to use this route because the Royal Air Maroc to Cassablanca was relatively cheap and we can also get to Ottawa in 2 hours by bus. The flight itinerary was:
Lagos to Cassablanca - 6:30 to 11am
Cassablanca to Montreal - 5pm to 7pm (Montreal time )

We took off at about 5.45pm and touched down Montreal at 7.45pm (Montreal Time). henceforth, it is PR Card or PR visa. We signed our COPR and uttered those nice and scintillating words “ Congratulations, you are now permanent residents of Canada. Welcome to Canada and have fun.” She didn’t take my sister’s address for the PR card but advised that I fill it online, I asked why and she said some people don’t have addresses when they land so they decided PRs should go to the cic site and do it themselves. They Customs/Agric asked again if we had foodstuff and I said No, but herbs and spices. He asked specifically if I had fish? I said yes, dried fish but nothing was searched.

Canada at last! This country will favour us.
congratulations to you and yours. Did you do your landing at Montreal as express entry PR or you got PR for Quebec? Thought one couldn't land there as a first PR. Please she'd more light on this.

Then you can only claim points for the time you've spent working in the Supervisory role, provided it's in NOC A, B or O. The initial role goes into your work history.

He couldn't have gotten PR for Quebec. Anyone who selects Quebec as a choice province will have their application rejected. He could live and work there now though. He had a layover there, got registered as a PR since that was the Port of Entry (POE) but his destination was Ottawa.

This is a dire situation though, IMO it might raise some eyebrows because the primary aim of that money is not for your immigration process but study purpose, a curious VO might reject this fund as it’s for a different purpose primarily. Others should weigh in their opinions.
