GAZZUZZ:

Pressure regulator. I am certain it has been blocked because car should not start without it.

Contact radautoworks for a complete unit

Thank you Gazzuzz.
I will contact him right away. Getting parts to Bayelsa can be a bit difficult and tiring especially if you have to return it several times cos it didn’t quite fit specifications. In the interim are there any untoward effects from using the car without the pressure regulator? I’m tempted to leave it as it is cos everything looks good right now. But I can’t risk irreversible engine damage from its absence. What would you advise?
Thank you once again.

Front left or rear left?
Is your matrix equipped with an ABS pump?

Front left.. No ABS

was the booster and master OEM brand new or tokumbo or china? Does the car drag on acceleration and pull to one side on braking? Is that brake binding?
Have it serviced. That channel should be serviced, any debris or dirt cleaned, brake caliper piston and slide pins washed, rust sanded off and brake caliper grease applied. Hope you're using genuine brakes pad and disc meant for matrix?

some certain rodeo parts aren't available in the market, rodeo has been discontinued and the Honda passport which is identical has a successor that is totally off.

makes sense to switch to Nissan

Boss, I need help. My 07 Camry V6 recently started vomiting gear oil after some long distance driving. Lagos to Abuja.

Before this time, I noticed that if you drive it the first time of the day, it delays a few seconds each time before moving to the next gear. It makes a certain sound.

The gear stick is not stiff to shift. After some driving around, it smoothens and drives normal. The vomiting gear oil thing happens during long distance driving.

My mechanic claims its oil filter and faulty ABS....that my speedometer isn't working.

What's your take?

Make una help me abeg. Money no dey this January.

Things like this happen because wrong fluid was used and when gear system is very hot, fluid starts to boil and pressure in the system increases next thing is to vomit oil for release of pressure.

but wait for the gazzuzz sha

It has done this thing 3 times - all long distance trips. Once I begin hit 100-120km consistently over a long distance and RPM rise to 2 upwards, it'll start to vomit oil and transmission go slow down begin jerk. The oil pouring on the hot engine causes smoking and the car go slow....RPM go now dey high between 3- 5 meanwhile speed has reduced to 60km.

Had to allow it to cool on the road side before I could continue my journey.

I no get money for V6 transmission abeg o. I use the recommended Toyota WS.

Very expensive gearbox tread carefully.

A client of mine had same problem.

After carefully exploring the possibilities i realized the transmission cooler was eliminated from the vehicle causing the transmission to overheat.

Lexus rx350 2012.

In your case it is possible the cooler lines were bypassed from radiator causing the transmission to overheat.

I will recommend you do the following.

1. Flush transmission oil.

2. Inspect heat transfer line between radiator and
transmission and fix any irregularities.

3. Instal an external transmission oil cooler
from a Lexus rx350
This will ensure
transmission temp levels are kept low.

4. This should be number one on the list. Ensure
your technician knows how to drain and refill
transmission oil on that particular vehicle . It is
a little bit complicated.

Small daddy shock absorber should be able to work grin

you have to understand that shock absorber have points for attachment of other suspension components, so cars of same model but of different generation don't necessarily have to work for each other, it may fit in place but point of attachment of other suspension component won't be available then cut and join, welding takes place these leads to irregularities and severe vibrations during driving.

Your suspension issues has to do with you buying tokunbo shocks, please go and buy brand-new even if nah chinko and enjoy peace of mind for some years, tokunbo shocks aren't reliable for 19years old car

Good day everyone, I drive an 08 Honda Accord V6, I recently gave my mechanic to scan the vehicle and fix it , because the Check engine light was on, after about 4 days with the vehicle he brought it back, and after i drove the car for about 3hrs the Check engine light came back, and just yesterday I noticed the car is also overheating, since I got the car, this is the first time its overheating, I'm just tired and confused, don't know what to do. Would appreciate some good advice here.
