congratulations to you and yours. Did you do your landing at Montreal as express entry PR or you got PR for Quebec? Thought one couldn't land there as a first PR. Please she'd more light on this.

Express Entry-FSW

We don’t have Quebec PR.

My advise for those having verification issues with wes esp unilag. Since the school waits for the evaluation by mail. Please save your self time and drama.. make a request for the verification to be sent via international delivery like dhl and they ll mail u the tracking number, u ll pay for it about 25k in naira. Once its send, in 3 days d school willl receive it. You write ur request, sign and fax to them

wolexy07:
You are not alone in this. The mail I got from WES was on the 17th of November last year. I have gotten in touch with Unilag twice this year. They said they are yet to receive both e-mail and post. The person I spoke to said that I am not the only one with the same issue. He also claimed WES usually lie about sending the request. Wondering why they will do that if true.
I called WES customer service last weeke and the person said it has been sent and it will be sent again.I complained to them via their Contact Us. They said my inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department for review. I don't even know what else to do other than to wait and hope it gets sent soon.

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone.
Please I need help. I've been reading about ECA and I decided to go for ICES. I have a BSc and PGD, pleas I want to ask if I'm going to evaluate the two to claim two or more certificates because someone was saying the highest qualification is what needed to evaluate.
Secondly, I have bsc in geography and planning and PGD is Geographical Information System. I'm have been working with a paramilitary organization since 2010. Please which NOC can I claim considering my academy background and working experience. Thanks in advance

If WES said they have sent it, then they have. You need to contact Unilag by visiting them. Go to Registrar’s office to confirm then follow up with records. I did that and found out that my verification was on someone’s desk since October with a pile of other verifications too
shocked shocked shocked
Nigerian universities have a long way to go.

My application for the transcript to be sent to WES is over 5 weeks and it has not even be processed, talk more of sending it out. The more I talked to the person through someone, the more the man feel offended and acts as if it should be delayed further.

I left everything to them. Whenever they are ready, they should send it out.

This is a dire situation though, IMO it might raise some eyebrows because the primary aim of that money is not for your immigration process but study purpose, a curious VO might reject this fund as it’s for a different purpose primarily. Others should weigh in their opinions.

Yes it is really! I’ve been confused too. But I have other sources of income here and there so I don’t even have to spend it for another 6 months or so. I’m counting on the VO to ask me to show this money is available after submitting my application. Is this reasonable?

Thanks for your response

My concern is the lump sum, you are suppose to explain the lump sum because am sure they’ll ask. If you definitely have a way to it now then I think you should put it forward before they ask you for explanation.

the person asked for express entry not pnp. With the scores these days 8777 is small one needs to max out. Only pnp one can apply for now is sask but their requirements cannot be met by many

The highest qualification is applicable to master's and PhD. In your case you're going to evaluate PGD and Bsc

payslip is an optional document. A reference letter is all you need. If you have bank statement showing salary. Include it

Hi there. You can ask a former colleague to write the reference letter for you. They should write it on a plain paper and sign off on it. You can then add bank statements showing salary deposits in your account at the time. If you also have email correspondence from that time, you can take screenshots and attach, photos taken during your time there, complimentary cards. Just about anything that shows you worked there and proves that you worked there.
