According to my friend, he told me that The list is 25 per state with additional 125 slots for oil producing state. The total number is 1050 and they are all are GTs. Eh is on hold. My friend has now registered with Nairaland waiting for posting rights. He added 60-70 percent will be posted to refineries.
The rumour about new recruitment is true, but let's wait and see how things will unfold after they have called the GTs.

His posting privileges will start next week.

The only problem with the submission is that NNPC cannot pick equal number of applicants from each state.

I've tried Nigerian Navy short service twice(didn't make the final cut), and the same number of successful candidates were selected from each state. Same with Nigerian army and Airforce....except they are picking by region. Only FCT has less number of candidates compared to other states.

And yes, Nigerian Army publishes successful candidates' names (Mostly few months after successful candidates (DSSC) have been called to camp )...... what i am saying is final list has nothing to do with states but zones.

APL whether GT or EH, if it will come, will come like a thief in the night. People expecting it this week or next week, don’t get your hopes dashed o. I have warned.

Nigerian Navy and Airforce's final list is based on state, and they select the same number of people from each state except FCT.....Nigerian Army selects based on Region(zone)...... Please try and understand things before you bash people. Peace!
