arduino: Be careful, any slight recovery could end up being a trap. Newbies bought Access at 12, UBA at 9.25, GTB at 34 ati bebelo. Those holding cash should continue to hold. Just relax on your mattress and watch TV. When banks start to increase deposits rates just to cull funds from the public because of the CRR hike, then we will see better run. 6 Likes |

RabbiDoracle:Sir, with all due respect, I don't think there's any need to "curse" anyone here. When we were expecting 10-10% and it didn't happen, our shirts didn't tear that time, it wouldn't tear now either by God's grace. You've always advice and give us direction. We appreciate and look forward to more of this rather. Thanks sir. 2 Likes |

Willie2015: End of month activities might not be the cause. People started selling when the Brent started going south. The cushion effect might start tomorrow to douse this panic selling. I think our 2020 budget was pegged at 60 dols per barrel. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 2:15pm On Jan 28, 2020 |
Mcy56: Oil is our mainstay. The outlook is bearish. Even without the virus scare, it was bearish. There is a large supply. The virus scare worsened it. As for the direction, it is just to maintain a cautious approach. I believe this CRR news could have its impact as well. Look at it this way: CBN will hold additional 5% of funds from bank. This fund will not be available to the banks. Banks will have to find funds. They will increase deposit rates to attract people to drop their funds with them. Those funds that are meant to find their way into the market will prefer to give bank presuming that Tbills remains depressed. That way funds are starved from NSE to support any rally. This is another negative in addition to those that are selling off. This points to the fact that the volume seen this January is just unusual. 7 Likes |

Access was sold down to 9.60. A bid of 4M and 500k at N10 were on ground now. This access is gradually turning to jijo stock. It's well. |
