drawnobet:Ive registered and listened but failed once. I'm on the second trial but scared of failing again. There are words I couldn't decipher so I'm hanging on to seek help. Why did I fail the tests? I tried listening well but a few words aren't clear. What else can I do? |

eyefordetails: I am a newbie like you and have been advised to stick to clear calls for now and pick more complex calls as I get better at it. There are easy and clear to hear calls. Stick with those and release the difficult calls. Also, check the glossary too. Some of the keywords in the call can be found there. You can also ask questions in the #querydesk section on Slack. You can leave the unclear words and just continue transcribing at first. Then when editing before submitting, listen again. The words might become clearer then. These are the things I have learned so far, I hope they help you too. 3 Likes |

Savvywriteprene: You see Funding Circle Uk calls. Just avoid them for now. If you lucky with SOR, Digital Airstrike xalls. They are much easier |

Stmiceel:Like you've got to be using 4G and it's got to be really strong. Imagine seeing calls and after clicking, you realise it's been taken. You return to the queue to take another and you see that there are no calls available. Oya let's attempt the CL.H calls, none available. No more releasing of calls if you're lucky to get any. We die there |

Yuneehk: Arlen self has recommended other websites. It has been confirmed that it is now overcrowded. She also said bad eggs will be cleaned. Hence, stricter measures. She recommended for the impatient ones, the following; Gotranscript.com Transcribeme.com Scribie.com Verbit.ai Rev.com Na wah ooo. |

Stmiceel:Did, twice. Both were quite clear and I only had to reduce the speed to hear and understand them better. These were shorter calls, though. I wouldn't go close to the longer ones abeg! |

kamikaz1:On slack, you keep seeing "newbie here". Toh, God airpus. Tried Gotranscript sometime in 2018. Passed their test and after earning $11, I got kicked out. My lazy ass didn't try to get in again considering how tough it was for me to get in the first time. I just might return with the way things are going. Samsard, oga junction, I'm greeting |

samsard: So, for the first time, I tried refreshing my page this night and saw 2 calls available. One was over 6mins and the other was over 9mins. I was so eager to get them opened, but by the way, why should they be paying as low as 2.1$ for transcribing an over 9mins call. Anyways, as I was saying, I was so eager to see what it looked like and I jumped right into it. Omo mehnnnn, as the page open ehn, I just confuse o. I messed around with the thing and ended up deleting all the text there and could not find a way to bring it all back in. I had to just release the call. Tho, it had over 6hrs works time but fear just catch me. Please, someone, help me with a tutorial video link, I don't think I want to mess up with this thing, I need the money and I work from home so I have a lot of time in my hands. |
