How much is the total money you make in a month? You said incentives.. how much plus incentives..
The 1.5million how was it got?
Just assume I am a 5 year old child that is about to enter Primary 1, please explain to me the above.

What was the reason for initial refusal?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 2:34pm On Jan 29, 2020
Go and collect the package...another refusal loading if it is the same Cocoa dealer application.. chai ... (I know it’s same person)

After my friend was refused oh Nov last year, he reaplied this month 16,but to our surprise he was called for collection ,just 9 to 10 day, he was afraid, bcoz is supposed to be 15 working days, anybody experience this before

Sometimes 100k with incentives or more but I also do other things that bring money to my account, I have an enterprise company but don’t run it with the company account because it’s a small business but it’s a registered one

I assume these other things that bring money to your account are from the business and would enter as multiple credits.. u might have to justify your business and salary earnings and if u are comfortable enough to go for a holiday/shopping trip.
They are very particular about finances and how one’s money is made as well as provide evidence of the origin of all the multiple credits

Work on your ties to Nigeria first.. especially financial/employment ties... seems shaky.. what will make you travel to UK and return to Nigeria??
the burden and weight is on you to prove to the ECO why UK must be the place for wedding shopping and certainly why you won’t overstay, but first convince urself... be the ECO for ur application.. if u cnt convince urself.. there’s no need..

Update : Got the visa
Phenobarb14:
I intend to apply for a UK visitors visa in order to sit a professional exam next month. However, I've got some queries as regards financing.
My mum paid about 300k into my account last month to help me with the trip. She gave me an additional 800k around the same period, which I did not pay directly into my account but put it in a short term (30-day) investment with a reputable investment firm.
I intend to liquidate 500k out of this to fund the trip, this money will be paid into my account in a few days, and I need to apply for the visa in a week or two so that I will not miss the exam deadline.
I had intended to state that the 800k was an accumulation of monthly investments from my salary over the past 1 year. I have large deductions that can support this in my bank statement because I mostly transfer half of my income to mobile wallets for my transactions. I also intended to attach the investment certificates of the initial 800k and the 300k balance which I intend to reinvest.

My bank statement over the past 6 months shows regular inflow and outflow. But my balance will be made up largely of these two deposits with a little addition.

How do I explain the 300k paid into my account by mum?

Can I simply state that it was a gift from her to help with my trip?

Do I have to show proof of how my mum got the funds?

Will paying this money into my account so close to my application raise a red flag?

Is attaching the two investment certificates enough to show proof of the 500k deposit?

Well done all the gurus in the house, a friend of mine submitted his application less than 10days, and the package has been released to receive, although he was refused by November, he was afraid now, bcoz it came as a surprise that the days are not up-to normal days. Maybe one has experienced it before.
My junior bro did biometrics Jan 17. He got message that passport ready for collection Jan 28. Visa approved.

Tell your friend not to be afraid because at this stage there's nothing he can do to change the outcome.....is either good or bad

I wish him favorable outcome anyway

Did you pick an appointment date yet on the tls website?

If you are yet to....then you can still use self upload of the document digitally and they will appear with just their passport.

With this....you only need to scan their document and upload to the tls website so you don't need to physically present it.

I self uploaded all documents for my dad's application from outside Nigeria and he was granted visa.

But this will only work if you are yet to book an appointment.
Thanks bro. The documents was scanned and uploaded to TLS website. They are going for their interview this week. Please what are the likely questions they will be asked . It's an invitation for 6 months standard visitor visa for my mum and Dad considering I am the sponsor
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Bourne007(m): 11:04pm On Jan 29, 2020
Interviews are mostly for Tier 4 applicants. Visitor applicants are hardly asked

Hello everyone

Please I need your help! I know this is an unrelated question. I plan on starting my PhD in Portugal this year and one of the requirements by the embassy is result verification. The Portuguese embassy will verify if your certificate are genuine. I completed my masters in the UK so under normal circumstances the Portuguese embassy has to contact the British embassy in Nigeria about my graduation. The enquire has been sent to the British embassy here but no response. I went to their office in lagos or and they didn't let me in, I called but nobody answered. Please does anybody have the correct contact details of the British embassy? Please I need it ,my time is running out. Thanks

Graduation or certification can’t be confirmed by embassy, major reason they didn’t reply, Also you can’t enter embassy without appointment. Portuguese embassy should contact your university in UK for verification. Only university can verify and confirm your graduation and certificate. Better still request a letter from your university and send to Portuguese embassy, that way they will know how to contact your university if they need additional information

Hello gurus in the house.
Many thanks and God bless for the good work.
Pls help...
I am presently preparing my bank statement to apply/renew for a 2 years visit visa in February/March this year.
I get my salary every second week of every month BUT last month's salary has not been paid yet. It will be paid hopefully by Fri 31st.

I hope this will not affect the bank statement OR do i need to run it
for another 6 month?

Hello the gurus in the house, I got to know about this trend after i submitted my application at the uk embassy in Northern cyprus
i am an international student here in Northern cyprus , i got an invite from my Aunt in the uk which i submited along with other documents required. The only thing Im bothered about is my application is the fact that i stated that 1000euros is what i budgeted for my trip

I'm really confused at the moment , wondering if 1000euros isnt too much for 2weeks visit

Can you defend the source of that 1000euros and why the trip will cost you 1000euros?

This morning I emailed them, 2 hours later I got series of emails from TLS. One says passport is ready for collection.
