Good evening gazuzz . Pls I acquired a Toks camry 2.2 pencil light.. It came in with a 14 Rim Tyre.. It seems too low I am wondering if I can use a 16 Rim alloyed Rim on it. I tried checking online at Tyreviews site I saw that it's possible to be used in the v6 model. That's 205/60R16..

Just wondering if anyone has the experience

have you tried 195/75/14?

I would advise you use 195/65R15. Is very OK and very common in the market.

Not yet.. I feel it would be very difficult getting a 14 inch alloyed Rim in the market... That's why I am considering 15 or 16...
Then again I would prefer a wider tire 205 will be offering me an 8.4inches against 7.1 of 195

OK... Thanks but from my calculations it will be giving overall diameter of 24.98inches which is similar to what I currently have at 195/70R14

Wow... Won't it affect the center of gravity. Your speedometer will also be off by some 94%. That means when you make 94km/hr you are actually making 100km/hr hehehehehehhe

Good day everyone, I drive an 08 Honda Accord V6, I recently gave my mechanic to scan the vehicle and fix it , because the Check engine light was on, after about 4 days with the vehicle he brought it back, and after i drove the car for about 3hrs the Check engine light came back, and just yesterday I noticed the car is also overheating, since I got the car, this is the first time its overheating, I'm just tired and confused, don't know what to do. Would appreciate some good advice here.

What code was present after the scan? And what fox did he carry out?

For the overheating start by checking your cooling systems components,. Start with simple ones. Your coolant level, Your radiator fan if its working at low and full speed, your radiator cap. Your radiator if it is clogged with dirt, Check the radiator lower hose if it gets hot outright, sundenly or gradually.

Good day Gurus, please I use Avensis with manual transmission. Of late, I discovered that my clutch pedal is getting a tad hard (which I actually observed from the dull pain I currently have under my left foot). What do I need to do first as per checks?
Thanks.

I changed it to 205/65 R15..

My Camry 2010 comes with 215/60/16 and it feels quite low, is it better to do what is called "adding rubber to the spring" or I should change the tyre to 215/70/16 at my next change window?

If the 'service light' is showing, what exactly should I do?
The oil is not that old as I changed it a few months ago and the car relatively idle save for work runs.
I don't what Kazeems to be flipping through my engine looking for what they did not keep. I want to go there and tell them exactly what to do. Cest' finis.

How many months ago exactly? What's the mileage readings and the quality of the oil used?

It's possible that your service light does not reset automatically upon oil change, you may need to manually reset it. Here is how to do it in most toyota, you make sure your mileage is on A trip, then turn off ignition, hold the mileage toggle while turning on (not starting the car) the ignition.

Kindly advice on a Nissan Pathfinder 2003 beign serviced regularly with Mobil XHP(wrong oil spec) with milage >172,000KM on speedometer.
*Can service oil swap be of any benefit? Actual recommended spec is synthetic 5W30.
*It usually starts and goes off but at 3rd attempt gets stabled.could it be due to engine oil.

Gazzuzz, evening. What could possibly cause a car Ac not to shut off at '0' position. I increased to '4' and it got stuck there. All attempts to rectify it... No way. It still blows on highest even at zero.
As usual... 08 corolla, SA.
Location: Enugu.

The first three speeds go through the fan resistor, which acts as a voltage regulator for lower fan speeds. The 4th speed goes direct to the fan. It's possible the switching mechanism is stuck at 4, which will undermine all other instructions. Start by pulling the main battery and retrying .
