Simplymeeko: How old is younger brother and why an ordinary diploma at this point in his career?.. Why go through the stress of being wait listed in a college? Why spend so much on ordinary diploma admission? He is better off applying for a direct undergraduate degree program in schools like University of Winnipeg, University of Regina, Brandon University etc.., that's if he hasn't attained any post secondary education in the past. This increases his chances and also explains to the visa officer that he is a bonafide student. It will end in praises. |

Leyemoshood: As always announced on this thread, advertisement of third party GCMS websites aren't allowed here. Thus, I would advise you explore the internet, you can find reputable GCMS sites that renders this services to people. Also be watchful of the reviews from people before making use of any. It will end in praise |

Nathan189: Sure, you've great chance of securing a TRV to canada provided that you're able to demonstrate you're a genuine student with sole intention to study and depart after studies, with backed up evidence of sufficient financial resources and ties back home. Don't listen to what people say about PGD programs and doom yourself into secret misery because no two applications are the same. Do your best and pray for GRACE! It will end in praises. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 10:51am On Jan 31, 2020 |
Godsblessings: Memorial University of Newfoundland doesn't waive English Proficiency test for undergraduate students coming from Nigeria. It's a compulsory requirement and your sister will have to sit for the exam and attain an overall 6.5band in her IELTS exam. I would suggest you apply to University of Winnipeg or University of Regina, these schools are very fast in issuing acceptance to undergraduate students and they also DON'T require any English proficiency test. It will end in praise |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 10:53am On Jan 31, 2020 |
freshStarz: Undergraduate or Graduate studies? Please be specific. Meanwhile, you can check; 1-) University of Saskatchewan, 2-) Memorial University, 3-) Brandon University, 4-) University of Prince Edward Island, 5-) University of New Brunswick etc. These schools are relatively cheaper when compared to other tertiary institutions in Canada. It will end in praise |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 11:12am On Jan 31, 2020 |
Elevation20: Hello Elevation20, The quoted means that a lot of Nigeria applicants collect loans to fund their Canadian education but don't usually state it as a loan rather they say the funds was from a "paid debt, property sales, awarded/executed contract etc. This is normally done if the organization giving out the loan are either third party individuals or unverifiable organizations. All the best. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 11:48am On Jan 31, 2020 |
Nathan189: BIG FAT YES... but I would encourage you go for a 2yr programme cos of the advantage it has over a 1yr program eg possibility of getting a PPR is high, number of years you will be issued on your visa |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nathan189: 11:49am On Jan 31, 2020 |
Frankrobbn1: Thanks boss. Please can you please list out the required documents needed for the visa application?? My uncles friend who they both do business together is given us his account to use as a sponsor. What is required of him?? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Anon123: 11:50am On Jan 31, 2020 |
seunmohmoh: Yes but possibility of getting admitted is slim..universities recognise BSC more than HND... so I will say you apply for a PGD.. |

Frankrobbn1:Thanks for your reply My uncle who has a friend in Canada informed us about a scholarship program for international students aged (18-21). He’s 20years old. So an application form was sent and letter of consent too(from Lethbridge college). All was done, fee paid and submitted, and we got this mail today. I really don’t know much about the whole scholarship thing, pardon my ignorance So what do you think about the waitlist? Thanks |

Hello guys, I've been having issues with Seneca College refunding my tuition fee. Here's the last message I got from them: Your refund money has been reversed to Seneca College. Out of three credit card payments, only $3,000 paid on October 31,2019 was reversed. Please confirm the reason with original credit card issuer (same as the one which student paid for his/her tuition fee with) and send us the following document; A copy of Credit Card statement showing Card Holder’s Name ( Master Card), Transaction date/amount and Issuer’s Name ( same credit card that student used for tuition payment) Explanation note why your credit card payment was reversed (i.e. card is declined etc.) Completed “Request for Tuition Fee Refund” form (This is NOT “Refund by Wire Transfer” form) Completed “Refund by Wire Transfer” form (Please TYPE/WRITE legibly. Do not use cursive writing. If your country adopts IBAN, put IBAN in Credit Account # area) Please note that we would like to confirm and return your refund fund by wire transfer to the country of origin and to the same beneficiary) if the credit card was issued outside of Canada. We could issue a cheque only if the credit card was issued in Canada. Please refer to our policy and documents downloadable from: http://www.senecacollege.ca/international/apply/withdrawals-refunds-deferrals.html IMPORTANT NOTES: Upon receiving all the required documents/information, the refund will take approximately 6-8 weeks. If more information is needed, you will be contacted. Incomplete requests or missing information will delay the refund process. What does it mean please guys? NOTE: I paid $3,000, $3,000, $1,814 CAD respectively with my credit card. What am I supposed to do now? I'll appreciate your kind responses. Thank you very much |
