While the government is embarking on fruitless oil discovery expedition in the Northeast, a Finnish woman is busy making millions from Agriculture in Jos.

You see this country ehn.. Evacuate the 200 million people here to the US and bring the whole of USA here.. In 20 years, Nigerians who were moved to the US would be battling to get visas to return to Nigeria.

I get your point but on the other hand you will see that the kind of support the government gave this woman, the citizens will never have that kind of support. Access to loans, access to quality land, security.. in fact NEPA can dedicate a line that ca provide power to her 2-4-7 because na oyinbo

Totally get your point but she's American. Even the American Ambassador was at the ceremony. She's not Finnish. Also, the Farm is in Kaduna State...that explains the presence of El Rufai as the host Governor. But I totally get your point.

……To build a new factory

Over the last five years, Tomato Jos has run Nigeria's largest active tomato farm in Kaduna, producing 7 billion tomatoes, with yield 7x above the national average. Now they are set to build their Tomato processing factory in Kaduna to produce 10% of Nigeria's Tomato paste demand.

IF THE NORTH CAN GO THIS FAR WHY IS IT THAT THE SAME NORTH IS AFRAID OF RESTRUCTURING?

Why is the same north afraid of Amotekun?

They should just take the bold initiative to venture into full time Agriculture and forget about Niger delta crude oil money.

Mira did not ask for a ban or border closure to grow her tomatoes.
If your product is good, you will find buyers.

So correct. It's not geographical problem, it's the people. Many nations in the world would be TOO LUCKY to have Nigeria with all the potentials. But here we are, most populous black nation in the world which also happens to be the world capital of poverty!

Think about farm sponsorship

Invest in agriculture today!

Re: Tomato Jos: Mira Mehta Shows The Largest Active Tomato Farm In Nigeria by FreQ: 2:16pm On Jan 31, 2020
Invest in owning your own plot of plantain farm today

FARM SPONSORSHIP

Invest in owning your own farm today.

1 Plot of 250 Plantain Farm Sponsorship

Sponsor a farm by investing 450,000 Naira and get a plot of land with 250 Plantains. Limited slots available so hurry and book your opening today.

If a bunch of plantain is sold @ 1,000 Naira, you can expect 250 x 1,000 Naira at the end of the year

250 x 1,000 = 250,000 Naira

Sponsor our farm management system by investing just 450,000 Naira, and you’ll have one plot of plantain with 250 plantain cultivated on the land for you.

We’ll also manage the farm for the first one year, from the weed management to manure application, all you need to do is invest 450,000 Naira, and you’ll own a plot of land with plantains cultivated on it for you.

If this offer, interests you, do not hesitate to give me a call or send an email to: Greenvibes30@gmail.com.

Note that plantain continues to bear produce every year for 50 years, so this is a perfect opportunity to own a farm and have a side investment.

For just 450,000 Naira, this means over the next 50 years, you’ll be getting 250,000 Naira annually. This is a perfect side investment and retirement system you can key into.

250,000 Naira x 50 years = 12.5 Million Naira

The southern Nigerian are farming and producing, the problem is the North despite the availability of arable land in Northern Nigeria, Northern elites are only interested in owning oil blocks or NNPC in the South-South. Why are very well educate Northerner Nigerian like Mele Kyari and Dr Maikanti Baru working as MD for NNPC when there are vast opportunities in mining and agriculture in the North.

That woman is more Nigerian than most Nigerians.

She has lived and worked in Nigeria since 2008.

To be a citizen of America, you need to invest $500,000 in the country.

Metha has invested more than $500,000 in Nigeria.

Well, she once complained about power outages and how these outages might push her out of business. Let's not forget that she finished from HBS. Her network is rich!

Kudos. But I prefer fresh to canned tomatoes. A local hausa farmer received international award some years back for discovering a way to preserve fresh tomatoes for months using pot-in-pot method (no electricity needed). One can use this method to preserve fresh tomatoes at home, instead of using canned tomatoes, which are invariably overly salted because salt is the preservative.

While I see the correctness in your opinion, I think some groups of people in the East, South-south and southwestern also share in the blame. They'd rather get their families enriched than use their political opportunities to fight for the groups. These are the people who make it easy to muffle the voice of Nnamdi Kanu, Sowore and others who are interested in political changes.
