I am beginning to suspect that you have a mental problem. Igbo land goes beyond south east to south south. We have hundreds of large Igbo towns in south south and north central. ChinenyeN: 3 Likes |

UdechiHD: You need to relax, and stop acting as though there is no legitimate basis for that statement. Are you not reading the words of your fellow nationalist? Part of YOUR problem as "Nationalistic Igbo" is that you waste HOURS ON END arguing over the boundaries of some rigid definition of "Igboland". Your fellow nationalist wants YOU NATIONALISTS to first come up with a suitable definition of what "Igbo" is so that you all can move forward with your newly beloved "code". I provided the most obvious definition that will give the least amount of friction and enable movement forward, and you come and type this sninama? Just admit that you people are not ready to make actual movements forward and would rather waste another 10 years arguing about who is and who is not "Igbo". UdechiHD: Of course. Tried and true. Why do NLders always behave like this? You're so dense that you cannot see someone's point and the next thing is you want to tell them where they are from, as if you know? I am actually talking about how to make real progress on something, with the least amount of friction, by focusing on the here and the now and the real, and all that can come out of your mouth is "you're not Ngwa". As if you know anything. So this is what you choose to do with your "Igbo Unity"? This is how you choose to express your "Igbo Unity" o'u kwa ya? O ma gele gele. Why should I even be surprised. You nationalists are always paranoid and threatened by even the smallest yawn. For over ten years now, I've remarked on this knee-jerk reaction. 10 years has come and gone and you people are still doing knee-jerk "Igbo bu Igbo" and "Igbu bu Otu". NaijirianKing: You've really truly convinced yourself of this narrative. Just carry go. If you are right, then perhaps the next decade might actually yield some fruit. If you're wrong, I'll meet you all back here on NL in another 10 years and ask you nationalists why you squandered "Igbo Unity" for yet another decade. IgbofromDelta: You're obviously dense if you don't understand the simple meaning behind the statement "Igbo is limited to SE states" in response to something written by ONE OF YOUR FELLOW IGBO NATIONALIST. I still propose the establishment of an affluent organization. With this current wave of "Igbo Cultural Renaissance", there are bound to be at least a handful of "proud sons and daughters of the soil" who have both money and connections. If you people do not know it now, round two of "plunder Africa" is about to begin. The rest of the world is about to soon turn its sights toward Africa again. This time, it will target various African countries in order to capitalize on human and natural resources. If you want my honest opinion, do not waste another decade on this glass of a thing you call "Igbo Unity". If you are not prepared for round two of "plunder Africa", then you will fail the people who are currently going hungry and starving within the SE. Yes, I said the SE, because any attempt to coerce affiliation beyond that is squandering precious time, mental, emotional and financial resources. There are too many dunces among African leaders; Nigeria especially. If you people fail to establish affluence effectively, then these dumb Nigerian leaders will agree to/cosign on/move forward with/do business dealings over your head. You will have failed the people that you so claim you love. You want us to believe that you love us? Time to act now, rather than waste another decade. No one wants to drink from an empty glass of "Igbo Unity". |

ChinenyeN:You can stick to this kind of topic no problem. National integration, pan-africanism and the round 2 of neocolonialism in Africa. But please refrain from Igbo unity issue. Igbo's in real life know themselves and we are unashamed of who we are. The internet seems to give some antagonist an opportunity to bash our people. Only a faceless forum as this can overplay the Igbo question. Other ethnic groups have issues that relates to them yet they don't talk about it. So please focus on other topics that can enhance this thread. |
Re: . by ChinenyeN(m): 8:17pm On Jan 31, 2020 |
IgbofromDelta: Lia sii. Is it because you claim to be from Delta that you want to now act offended that I am limiting Igbo to the SE? If anything, you should be understanding and know that any crusade to conscript Delta would only make your people even more hostile. If you want to join SE Igbo in their pan-Igbo, nationalistic Igbo agenda to create "Igbo Empowerment", then by all means do so. Just don't act as though there is no legitimate reason to exclude your Delta people until they themselves willingly come on board. Nonsense. 1 Like |

UdechiHD: I am part of the SE. I have just as much a right to call my fellow SE out on their BS. So don't come here telling me to refrain from "Igbo Unity" issues. After all, you people's efforts will undoubtedly have a cascading effect on my people. You cannot possibly believe that I would not have a say in it. |

Re: . by Nobody: 8:28pm On Jan 31, 2020 |
ChinenyeN:No banter whatsoever. You want the Igbo nation to be limited to the SE. I can understand why. Many of us on the other hand, don't give a flying fu*ck about the denials. Let natural events sort them out. As a matter of fact we don't wish to throw the baby with the bath water. Inasmuch as the SS is a conglomerate of minorities and Igbo denial tribes such as the Ikwerre, Ika and Ndokwa, we still have staunch Igbo groups that reach out to us in those enclave and these are the people many of us are concerned about and would do everything to carry them along. We would not allow a geographical delimitation cut off our people in those areas. |
Re: . by ChinenyeN(m): 8:44pm On Jan 31, 2020 |
UdechiHD: This is a lie, but whatever. I'll let it go. UdechiHD: Honestly, you're going to have to let them go. It now becomes their job to sort themselves and their people out. My honest opinion, don't wast time fighting their fight for them, because it wouldn't help your cause. If it isn't obvious by now, I will spell it out to you. Their people need to come to such a decision on their own. Any input from people like you definitely does not help matters. So focus on SE and keep it moving. Be open-armed with others from other regions who and to participate, but otherwise, keep..it..moving. |
Re: . by Dedetwo(m): 8:44pm On Jan 31, 2020 |
ChinenyeN: What the hack is this arrant nonsense? By the way, what constitutes SE States? Igbo land is not the making of any government that emerges from the shithole called Nigeria. The governments of Nigeria can cave the contraption called Nigeria which ever they deemed fit, Igbo land cannot change to another ethnicity. Ethnicity is not a creation of man. 1 Like |
