what is there that can be misunderstood?.Martin's has and had no nigerian record for best European club, even before he went there kanu and taribo had been there.
apart from the ones that played in barca, United is the next biggest name in Europe to feature “an eagle” (not Nigerian).

Besides, someone had already brought the amueke thingy to my attention before your brash reaction
Re: Man United Set To Sign Odion Ighalo by Jimi24: 10:19pm On Jan 31, 2020
I dont believe it BUT it might work. ManU does not want to spend on an industrious/take them on striker. An opportunistic one like Ighalo might just work. If you coach Ighalo properly and get the likes of Pereira to feed him properly they might just get a devastating strike force against small teams that give them all the problems.

Why are y'all speaking bu!!sh!t as if Ighalo is that bad,or is it because he's Nigerian? As a Man U fan and as a Nigerian i am happy that my comrade plays for my team, just as I luv Leicester,Chelsea, and every other clubs we have Nigerians playing...Haba!!
you love mediocre entities merely by virtue of featuring Nigerians?

Moreover it is a 6-months loan deal with an option to buy in the summer..i think it is a smart move though weired but he'll definitely provide cover for the injured Rashford and some competition for Tony And united will be paying only 1/3 of his weekly salary

Something tells me this deal is not just for footballing reasons. They need Nigerians money and fans. I mean Man United grin grin
so ighalo is the best man for such? Why not Musa or any other great forward? Let me just say Ighalo is spiritually favoured...

Add Finidi, Kanu, Tijani Babangida, and Pius Ikedia who turned out for Ajax
our 98 squad was mad men.it was star studded.ikpeba was the prince of Monaco then, how do you manage ikedia, babangida, ikpeba, amunike and finidi.all wingers into one squad?.then there was oruma, okocha and kanu behind the strikers.amokachi and yekini.oliseh and garba lawal protecting the back four, which included c.babayaro, taribo etc.that squad sha.

Amuneke has the record then... as for Oliseh, in terms of “bigness” or greatness (not form oo). Man Utd pass Juve.

So Amuneke is 1st with barca
Ighalo will be 2nd with United
Oliseh 3rd with Juve
Martins 4th with Inter
Kanu and Mikel and Moses will share 5th, 6th and 7th with the middle class London clubs

Ajax is way bigger than Juventus and Inter Milan

Far back 1995/96, Nigeria had players starting UCL final, in star-studded teams having Overmars, Kluivert, De Boer brothers, Rijkard, Seedorf, Edgar Davids, van der sar etc.

25 years later, Leicester is the best we can get!

I don't even think it matters as much,we are still basically achieving the same thing,2nd or third in African cups, silver or bronze medals at Olympic male soccer.winning under 17 championships.bowing out at round of 16 at the world cup,no much difference.

Ighalo is about to set the record Cos as it is, this is the “biggest” club to ever feature a super eagles player.

Beating Obafemi Martins inter milan record.

Who knows, now that a nigerian is going to Man utd, the next big names in Europe after man utd is barca and madrid. Maybe someday we will have players in those teams as well

All of you insulting Man United for buying ighalo saying he is not Man United quality abeg....

How many goals does Daniel James, Lingard, Mata, Martial have?

Yet they play for Man United. I see him doing well in this current Man United squad. Remember a one eyed man is king when surrounded by blind people. If ighalo should score like 8 goals before season end or even 10 baba would be hyped by the media grin grin

I agree, i think ighalo is hungry and in form and that hunger will translate to great performance like he did with his chineese club. Let see how it goes. He has been given us surprise performances lately so I can’t rule him out just yet.

Bkus rashford wears 10 doesn't mean he plays that position oo as a matter of fact lingard plays more as a 10 than Rashy..so,it would be,rashford, ighalo, martial, James which isn't that bad after all..

Musa also has a Martial kind of problem. He 'argues' with the ball too nuch sometimes. Man U wants someone who gets into position in the 18 yard box and shoots. They only need him to vanquish small teams. Big teams are easy for ManU. Even Liverpool gets nervous around ManU
