White people are synonymous with development, but the black race hates it

……To build a new factory

Over the last five years, Tomato Jos has run Nigeria's largest active tomato farm in Kaduna, producing 7 billion tomatoes, with yield 7x above the national average. Now they are set to build their Tomato processing factory in Kaduna to produce 10% of Nigeria's Tomato paste demand.

Why foreigner

Why not? They are helping our economy. Nothing stops the indigenes from also establishing their own farms.

While the government is embarking on fruitless oil discovery expedition in the Northeast, a Finnish woman is busy making millions from Agriculture in Jos.

You see this country ehn.. Evacuate the 200 million people here to the US and bring the whole of USA here.. In 20 years, Nigerians who were moved to the US would be battling to get visas to return to Nigeria.

Exactly.

See them... Always looking for excuses. So how have you used the one allocated to you so far.. At least you can see the ones aloxated to Kaduna and Kano in the North. Show us your progress in SS with all that huge allocation.
And mind you the land is not yours it's owned by the FG in Abuja.

It's not your right to allocate resources to people that already own the resources. The NDDC is an FG constructed organisation, made up of FG appointee. The north needs to focus on the resources in the North and accept restructuring

There's nothing wrong with GMOs. If you a contrary view (which is fact based), do post it.

GMO is unnatural, sickness and disease causing.

It is responsible for weak health of people today

How can anyone in his right sense's advocate for such poison

Point of correction. You don't own the resources. It's Nigeria's and thus controlled and managed by FG. You just occupy the land. Land is not yours. You don't believe me go to Abuja to collect it. Illiterate. I don't know who poisons the mind of these ones.

Sense of entitlement kill you there "Deve" boy

Plus you have not answered my question. What development have you done with your allocation in the SS?

Well, to inform you that Africa needs GMOs more than ever. Here are two articles by a Rwandan and Nigerian.

https://allianceforscience.cornell.edu/blog/2020/01/a-rwandan-farmers-son-why-i-advocate-for-gmo-crops-in-africa/

https://geneticliteracyproject.org/2019/10/31/viewpoint-developing-countries-need-gmo-gene-edited-crops-to-solve-food-security-challenges/

But please, provide evidence for your claims. It's one thing to state an opinion, it's another to support it with concrete evidence.

Nigeria does not need GMO. I'm sure you don't understand the full scale implications of GMO and Mosanto

Africa does not need GMO or any poison from the white man
The ones they have brought (Religion, politics etc) is enough, and nature slowly eradication those

African countries bringing in GMO are only setting up their people for suffering

You both haven't explained how GMOs are bad or evil neither is it stated about the ill effects. Please for one more time, present a concrete evidence which states that GMOs are evil or deleterious to one's health.

I can't wait for their Tomato Paste to be available on retail level. I hope it will. These guys are really doing a great job. From Nassarawa and now here. The farmers in their network must be lucky.

They should however watch out for insecurity. cool

Started from Plateau State, hence Tomato Jos...

Hope dangote does not run them out of business because he wants a monopoly

Mira's Tomato Jos has been in the tomato paste business in Nigeria for about 13 years, well before Dangote Group, but frankly it is relatively small tomatoes (pun intended) compared to Dangote's processing plant. Erisco Tomatoes is the other relatively significant player in the sector.
