The ban is very inconsiderate, what’s meant to happen to people who use their bikes/tricycles for dispatch? Or even to get to and from work? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Remember back in the day when Lagos guys bragged about how sweet living in Lagos was... They made us feel like we were living next door to the jungle... Some actually still give off these fake vibes, but thank God for social media and internet... Trekking mode activated for slay queens and forming Lords... Dem go change shoe and slippers tire. Under this hot sun, no less!!! What a Paradise!!! Younger brother of London my foot!!!! 8 Likes |

I noticed that the number of mini buses working are quite few unlike previous days. I suspect some sort of blackmail going on between the Okada riders, keke and danfo owners. Or how do I explain the fact that i did not see 1 single danfo plying Ojuelegba Lawanson route after standing for over an hour at Ojuelegba bus stop. Bus everywhere looks very cool and calm sha. 2 Likes |

Nice topic.... not in Lagos... not affected.... but do these people ever sit and think for a moment how such a ban would affect the residents? .....or do they really believe Lagosians are all lazy witches and wizards that prefer to ride okada and keke instead of getting on their brooms and zoom to work? Are the sick and elderly... pregnant and toddlers now have to trek punishing distances? ... in the name of exercise is good? What alternative did they provide? Sad. 7 Likes |

ImagineNation:my dear keep trekking, it is a part of exercise. Meanwhile the reason of the banning is for our own good. The influx of Hausa Fulani/ herdsmen in lagos state is on the high rise. Have you ask your self who is sponsoring these boys, who is giving them these keke and bike. Ndi Igbo siri na nwa nnunu na agba egwu n'uzo ihe na akuru ya egwu no nime ohia, meaning that, a bird that dances on the road the drummer is inside the bush. My dear pls keep trekking. God gave us leg to walk. You get leg they complain if no get leg you will still complain. Pls appreciate God for that. 6 Likes |

PlaysNigeria: In Ibadan now, once there is a small bottle neck on the road, the number of okada u will see stuck n struggling to find their way will shock you. U will count 5000okada Since the introduction of cheap TVS okada, infact the population is alarming now 6 Likes |

GOFRONT: Every man is innately selfish and thinks more of his own convenience than that of others. Keke has been banned in most parts of Abuja, at least in town. Thank God you have a car, but I believe this question is mostly for those who rely on public transport, not people like you. 6 Likes |

Butoneday2: The increase in once chance in Abuja is as a result of banning keke and okada Fulani herdsmen are not the ones picking up people in private cars and robbing them of their valuables, sometimes even harming and maiming them. It is easier to be robbed in a car than in a keke. So, for every advantage you think there is to any decision, I can assure you, there are disadvantages that bring everything back to base. 8 Likes 1 Share |

I agreed with a Lagos state management board spokesman at DW satellite television interview that banning Okada will force many of these operators to go and learn a trade like painting, welding, carpentry etc, which are becoming scares, That what baffles him is a university graduate based on there are no jobs thinking, will simply choose to be an Okada rider, and fail to think outside the box and put to a better use his university education and knowledge. 4 Likes |
