This is not a good time to be a nigerian, so sad that people will now be finding it difficult to travel to the USA. <P> Anyway i think it's about time we start applying for only canada. |

That is not the right question to ask. I expect u to ask if he was the one that ask country to be issuing travel documents before u can to other countries. quote author=vizkiz post=86292530]When I die and get to heaven, I really need to know what God’s intentions were for making me a Nigerian by birth. Measured response and the right thing to do when criticised by action which this incident by the US is. The points raised and the charge to Nigeria amongts other countries is of immense benefit to us in this season of our war against extremism and terror. We just wish we could do the same for migrants across our northern border. Nobody wants to fight an unending war such as ours. They just look at our plight and shudder. If we want solutions to the insurgency perhaps the US is giving us a heads up as to what is lacking and should be implemented because it is clear our govermemt doesn't know what a citizen of Nigeria looks like even if they passed them by is broad day light. May our elected and appointed officials share in the same passion, patriotism and comittment as their counterparts in the US. If they donot know how it is not a sin to have foreign experts come look at our immigration and border control establishments with a view to raising them from the dead. |

Why not take time to make enquiry from the US embassy to know if the restriction does not affect the list of application as reported by FG. It does no harm if we read to understand or further seek for more understanding. quote author=AroleOduduwa2 post=86292566]I swear buhari and his Muppet are dunce. good4all40:Only comment from someone who knows what is going on, this is an indirect way of clamping down totally on all kinds of visa categories. Because the person that is most likely to overstay is the one with a tourist visa and they claim that is not affected. 1 Like 1 Share |

Let all the required system necessary be fixed. I know Nigeria would sort this out. Those who said they are not Nigerians yet they are still rushing to Nigeria immigration to get the Nigeria Passport to travel to America. I think this is security risk too, the embassy should scrutinized this people even through their posts on social media to ensure they are not given Visa. So that they would not go out there and be firing missiles to us back here in Nigeria. Looking forward to when most people would start complaining that Nigeria Immigration is too strict and denying some section of the country opportunities to travel to US even as they say they are not Nigerians. God bless Nigeria. |

If that expectation is met, the President may remove travel restrictions at any time. Conversely, the President has also determined that if improvements are not made, additional restrictions may be added. Those travelers who have already been issued visas by the U.S. government will not be affected by the new restrictions. You guys should stop panicking, as long as Buhari does the right thing, the restrictions will be removed. Your grudge is with Buhari not the US government! |
