450k will get it cleared up

It takes 16days to get here and not 28 days.

It's only far east vessels that takes such longer days to reach here .the likes of China - 35days and mostly they are transhipped .

I stand to be corrected.

A RORO vessels takes average of 15 days to 17 days to reach Lagos port.

it is 18 days now that i received dock ticket from my friend who is assisting me. He said the reason that it has not arrived is because the ship is also going to several counties before coming to Nigeria. How true is this?

You need to have draft bill of lading with you no matter how. 18days is too much . I won't be surprised if the vessel is already here. Don't let me burst your bubble.

From the vessel name I will tell you where she is at the moment.

There is a difference between soft copy of dock receipt and draft Bill lading. The dock receipt could only enable you to know the status of the vessel . It does not confer on you to clear at the port . Draft bill of lading or original bill lading give you the right of clearance

On the dock receipt you will see port of loading as well as vessel name . Check the name of the vessel there and do the tracking on your own . You will see the position of the vessel

A RORO vessel from Galveston and Freeport,TX. often takes more than 28days because of vessel port calls to Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, etc.

. Ok . perhaps all the shipment have taken delivery from are Jacksonville and Virgin beach port . So maximum of 15days minimum of 13days from those ports I stated.
