Cedar-Sinai Los Angeles gave me such bill and university medicine Chicago ..so yeah 92k bill is very very possible l

I will overrule my own best judgment and respond to you this one time. Most of you post without much forethought... and simply out of spite. Even if she goes to 20 other “less complicated” hospitals, you think the VOs will ignore an $82k discount at her next interview? Would it not make sense for her to clear that up first? A delivery costing $92k is crazy.

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Nobody: 10:36pm On Jan 30, 2020
While you are looking for a new Hosp ,also sort the 82k discount since you already in the USA..of course,it’s impossible to pay 82k but I am sure they can still provide you with a solution
TWoods:

The bold is incoherent.

My original post was that running off to another hospital won’t absolve her of the discount issue with the original hospital when she needs to renew her visa. She needs to fix that issue first. The fact that the discount is $82k makes it a whole lot worse.

$60k for normal delivery without complications That’s completely crazy! They better be granting the child citizenship of heaven for that cost.

Doctorsperati hospital(s) also gives discount. So just ensure you let them know you don't need any discount. My friend got denied twice for discount she didnt ask for. She used Doctorsperati in 2017.
I also suggest you sort out the discount in your itemized bill with the former hospital. Not saying pay back 82k neither am I saying 82k bill is impossible as it depends on the circumstances during the birth. However, just be sure they didnt make a mistake. All the best.

Miriam88:
i have already used the hospital with my first baby in 2018, and paid 10k but in the itemized bill i have a discount showing almost 82k dollar which i did not know cos the assured me it not a discount but its showing in my itemized bill so thats why i dont want to use the hospital again.this is my 2nd baby and my visa is still valid so i want to get a hospital with out the discount.cos i know i have to explain the first one when renewing my visa.

Just in case you are forgetting, see your original usual Twoods-like (the traditional Twood, always wanting the worst of negatives to happen to fellow human beings once they try to "share" the US with you in any way and for any reason) post I first responded to below. Kindly pinpoint the incoherence again please. Why are you trying to twist it? As at the time you posted this, did you have the info you are now hiding behind and forming being humane? You no humane nothing oga, na "Wood" you truly true-true be! "They aren’t forcing you not to pay in full are they?" indeed.... Tell her make she go pay the 82k difference from the former waka na, make people chop you here.

TWoods:

You obtained your visa based on the hospital you informed the embassy you were going to use. Why don’t you use that hospital? They aren’t forcing you not to pay in full are they?

As at when I got my Visa I told the VO I would use the Visa to put to birth if I got pregnant and it was updated in my record
Dudu18:
Congratulations chibertha, please I wanted to find out did you use a birth tourism visa?. I currently have a B1/B2 visa but wanted to appear for an appointment to inform VO was using it for child birth and visitation as the initial visa received was for business purposes.
But with the new law wondering if I should travel at all,

All,
Please I want to as a question here on what you'll think made the consular deny me visa. it has happened twice now within this month.

Sunshine1980 and any other one with useful info pls help

I applied for Visa to attend a training and a conference planned for 5 days. I work with a University and consult for an Oil and Gas firm. The O&G wants to sponsor. Twice within 15 days they denied me the Visa.

Not true. The “ban” does not affect visiting visas.

Trump Administration Adds Six Countries to Travel Ban
President Trump added Africa’s biggest country, Nigeria, as well as Myanmar, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan and Tanzania, to his restricted travel list.

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Friday added six countries to his list of nations facing stringent travel restrictions, a move that will virtually block immigration from Africa’s most populous nation, Nigeria, and from Myanmar, where the Muslim minority is fleeing genocide.

The proclamation will take effect on February 22. Immigrants who obtain visas before then will still be able to travel to the United States, officials said. Nonimmigrant visas, including those for students and certain temporary workers, as well as visas reserved for potential employees with specialized skills, will not be affected by the ban.

I don't understand this ban. What about American citizen parents who wants to file for their kids. Or spouses who wants to file for each other? Are they included in this?

That hospital is based in Beverly hill. The hospital where Kim had her baby, a friend of mine works there so, for that environment, the cost is ‘normal’. There are ‘cheaper’ hospitals in LA.

If you are not seeking permanent residency in the U.S., you should not be affected. The ban is on immigrant visas.

This is the reason why it is good for us to do our research very well and also compare prices before going off.
A lady I met here in the hospital on Wednesday said for her first baby who was placed NICU it cost $24000US which she paid in full before leaving the country. When she went to renew even the VO was surprised at the amount she paid, saying that was way too much even with NICU for 2 weeks.

Who go berverly hills na im find trouble.

pls, this Fit to Fly, i heard 3 versions ..
1. all airlines accept the one from port health at the airport
2. some airlines accept only from their recommended hospitals
3. you only need it if you are over 8 months.

anyone that has first hand experience, pls clarify

2ndly, anybody gone through atlanta poe?, it had/has? a reputation of being unfriendly/tough. bearing in mind the recent trump wahala, is it recommended one avoids this poe?. bbirthing was declared during visa interview
