Its not a rocket science either guardiola is not a genius u present him to be despite city spending a lot of money on their academy guardiola still splash money on players if guardiola was the coach when iheancho was in the academy he will never smell the first team
TheGoodJoe:

I did not say converting a winger or wing forward. I said a midfielder. That is converting Ozil or David Silva. Sorry, it is not beans.

Abi oo Alaba play left back for Bayern and play attacking midfielder for Austria and no coach is taking the glory of converting him
charlesemeka85:

If a player like John o'shea can be deployed to the goal post, saved a one on one and kept a clean sheet then its not a big deal converting a left footed midfielder to a lb.

Even Gerard for sometime now deploys aribo to the flanks cheesy

What about Sancho? If he remained at city he would have been out on loan to a championship side or a bit part player in the club.

Klopp converted an aged Milner from midfield to left back for an entire season.... He also use him as a right back...
In fact, the only position Milner probably hasn't played for Liverpool yet is the CB and GK role...

How about that ?

When the season end he will buy another 100m midfielder instead of grooming foden to a world beater and also buy another world class defender instead giving adarabioyo a shot

Top knotch bomb. Tottenham were played off the park. Manchester City missed good chances. Do you remember the Aguero miss where Lloris was on the ground and a little dink would have been a goal? Penalty miss? Was that due to Mastermind brilliance of Mourinho?

Coach have their tactics. Some are to win games and brag. Others are to Create legacies that will change the face off football. Guardiola came and changed English football forever. That shows he is a genius, not winning by luck and claiming Mastermind.
Mou have 3 Epl titles sha, don't see any winning by luck

Were you expecting Jose to outplay pep coached team? It hv never happened before and will never happen. Their style and philosophy approaching a game differs but you have to accept the bitter truth that Jose masterfully got the desired 3 points which many never thought was possible. That's tactical masterclass
Can't remember any coach outplaying any Pep team, everybody knows just let him have the ball and they'll hit on the counter

For almost a whole season, Zinchenko played as a left back. Not deploying in a game.

Gerrit.
Saka is naturally a left winger, since the start of this season he's been brilliant at LB and he's just 18. So no big deal with Zinchenko

It's nothing new, Wenger converted Lauren a natural winger to one of the best RB in the world, he also converted Toure a striker to a world class CB. Abeg your coach never do anything special

That shows the brilliance of Klopp. That shows Klopp is not only relying on Money to succeed. So people should stop saying Guardiola just needs to spend to win. Get the point.

Alaba had already developed a reputation as a versatile footballer, having been transformed from a midfielder to a left-back by Louis van Gaal.

But under Guardiola, the Austria international became a high-class footballing chameleon, operating on the wing, in central midfield, as a traditional left-back and as an inverted full-back.

And with Jerome Boateng, Javi Martinez, Holger Badstuber and Mehdi Benatia all struggling with fitness concerns during the 2015-16 campaign, Guardiola then converted Alaba into a central defender.

“I’ve been getting better with every year he’s been here, because of him [Guardiola],” Alaba told the Guardian. “But I didn’t know myself that I could play as central defender.”

Considering he did not suffer what other geniuses suffered, we can say that Pep is not quite as brilliant as the likes of Klopp and Mourinho.

When money smoother your road, you cannot speak with the same confidence and assertion as someone who got to the same destination on a rocky road.

You will never hear them say Pep is in the bottom half an of a table. That has happened to both Klopp and Mourinho. Throughout his career failure has always been second place. I honestly don't like him but Pep is a football genius

how can you hear he is in the bottom half, when he spends three times whatever Mourinho and Klopp spend for players?

If someone has spending money of 10 million and others have spending money of 100,000 and 80,000 who is more likely to suffer hunger?

This is like saying Dangote has never declared bankruptcy, but Aminu that has never had a net worth of more than 1 million naira declared bankruptcy at some time.

It is not all to have it still demands genius to apply it, btw don't compare Klopp with Guardiola he has not even won 1/3 of his trophy haul

It is not Pep's fault that he is employed by the richest clubs in the world

It is rather testament to his genius, so don't expect Pep to go to Newcastle while there is a PSG or Juventus waiting for him

Liverpool couldn't even sign VVD and Allison until they sold Coutinho
