Even if someone have your ATM card, he or she cannot make an online payment with your card without your bank's one time password which is usually sent to your alert number and if there is no confirmation via your number then no payment. So if payment was made with card then you authorised that payment .

You have no idea what can be done with your card. You DO NOT always need an OTP, especially for foreign transactions.

He was right. The bank can't do anything because he misplaced his debit card and never requested for the debit card to be blocked den he falls victim of debit card fraud. He should count his losses and learn. It's a dead end, there is nothing the bank can do.

Firstly, merchants can claim payment for products after a period where the amount is kept in a lien account. If there are any disputes during this period, the funds can be investigated, logged against the merchant (even after full payment) and a full refund issues. Please do not mislead people.

You guys should be proactive.... Boys for street are now sophisticated than you may imagine... After every online transaction with your MasterCard it is wise to disable it with ur bank app... Someone doesn't even need to steal ur card before this kind of occurrence.... Snapping the back and front is enough for this evil act.....
